Don and his team were very responsive and ensured that the carpet I chose for my garage project was the perfect fit and material. We moved into a home in Lakeway that had outdated, scratched, shiny cherry wood flooring and filthy carpets. We were prepared to tear everything out and start from scratch if necessary. Kevin and Shelly promptly responded to our inquiry, sat down with us, walked us patiently through all our options and built a plan that met our needs. As others have commented, they listened to what we wanted and did not pressure us to do more than we were comfortable with. We were able to refinish the wood floors and upgrade the carpet at a reasonable price. The contractors were professional, courteous, efficient and competent. There were a few midstream changes that I made which were handled cheerfully by Kevin and his team even though they weren’t part of the original plan. A few weeks after the job was done another contractor damaged the wood floor finish and although we haven’t yet resolved the repair, Kevin continues to be responsive and helpful. There are a lot of choices out there for flooring and a lot of contractors providing services. Kevin and his team delivered a solution that was right for us and a quality result that we are proud to own.

Great customer service, installation, pricing and quality. We are so happy we called Kevin at Floor Coverings International Lakeway. From the start of the process, Kevin was all about helping us find what we really wanted. He spent quality time talking with us, not selling. He asked questions, made sure we prioritized our needs, provided us options and overall did a great job guiding us to the decisions we made. We needed to find carpeting which would be pet-friendly - resisting pulling and stain resistant not only from dogs but from our toddler too! The information Kevin gave was clear and factual, but he injected in enough of his experiences with others and opinion too. All of this time up front allowed us to select the carpet and padding we really wanted in our 12 year old home. Kevin didn't over promise. Once we selected the carpeting, he quickly confirmed availability and within a few days we agreed on an installation date. The install crew was very professional, friendly and careful! They took the time even when removing old carpeting and padding to do a clean job, but also kept up with the cleaning as they progressed. The challenging stairway install was done slowly and carefully. Overall, we are very happy with the installation time and process. Once completed, the first impression people get when entering our home has changed dramatically - the carpeting looks luxurious and adds appeal to the home. The denser padding and the thicker than builder grade carpeting also feels so much thicker - it makes me feel taller! Go with Kevin at Floor Coverings International Lakeway. You will at least benefit from his knowledge, but can also add great carpeting to your home.

We are so pleased with our recent whole house re-carpeting project that Floor Coverings International completed for us! From the initial meetings with Shelley who was so helpful in assisting us with choosing the new carpet and explaining everything, to Kevin who coordinated everything and communicated regularly as to the status including going to bat for us when there was an issue with the manufacturer, to the installers Isoberto and his son who moved all the impossible to budge furniture that was in the way and left behind great workmanship with all the carpeted areas. This was a big multi-day job and FCI handled everything professionally while making what could have been ultra-stressful as easy as possible by working with us in shuffling all of our stuff around the house as they worked. We would not hesitate to use them again should we need another flooring project!

We used FCI Lakeway for a home we purchased in Lakeway. We had them replace the old carpets in three bedrooms and closets. Isidoro Jr and Sr were the carpet technicians dispatched. They did an amazing job and blazingly fast. Kevin Temple, the owner of FCI actually was on site for the initial walk through to answer any questions. This is a super competitive business so when I called around to get estimates I paid attention to customer service. Heather who answered my initial call is what sealed the deal for me. We will use FCI again for future jobs and recommend them highly.

Great experience from start to finish with beautiful results! Shelley's a great listener and quickly had a sense of the look I was going for and made suggestions that were lovely and matched my tastes. Kevin was patient and understanding with delays I had due to other work being done and Reuben and his installation crew were extremely meticulous with every tile laid and I couldn't be happier with how sleek everything turned out. It's very rare to see a group of people as passionate about their what they do and who take this level of pride and attention to detail in their work and I feel fortunate to have had them help me with this project. Hands down a 10/10 and would highly recommend.

We had a great experience with our carpet installation from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and did an excellent job. The carpet looks beautiful, the installation was clean and seamless, and they made sure everything was perfect before leaving. We’re extremely happy with the finished result and would definitely use them again!

Kevin's team was amazing to work with. Their customer service and regular communication made for a smooth, successful project that included coordinating various schedules of carpet removal, wood floor refinishing, pausing for painters to work and then installing new carpet. Joe did an incredible job sanding down engineered hardwood floors to an original finish without hitting plywood. Top notch work!
