"I am so glad that I decided to hire Floor Coverings International (FCI) of North Central San Diego and Charlie Le to replace the carpet and old vinyl plank) in all of my rooms (entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, 20' hallway, a bathroom and 3 bedrooms)! I interviewed 5 other stores first, comparing price on the Luxury Vinyl Plank I wanted, Yelp ratings and my sense of them as professionals. They all had storefront offices with lots of space and lots of samples to view. When Charlie arrived at my home in his van and showed me his relative fewer samples, which did not include the brand and model I wanted, I was about the thank him and say goodbye. But as he looked around my home, he began making perceptive comments about what he would do that reflected an artistic, highly knowledgeable and deeply caring attitude. Charlie is an authentically friendly, joyful person that is very open to feedback and requests. As he said a few times, "I just want you to be happy!" And I am. I took a leap of faith (for me) and hired him. I welcomed his recommendation to replace the baseboards in all rooms to larger one with more height. They definitely elevate the sense of beauty and quality of the floors and rooms! He and his crew went above and beyond in helping me box and move my belongings out of the rooms being worked on, since I felt too overwhelmed to do it by myself.
