1. Sponsor and Administrator
This giveaway Contest is sponsored by Floor Coverings International® (“Sponsor”), 5390 Triangle Parkway #125, Norcross, GA 30092, in partnership with Engineered Floors (“Presenting Sponsor”).
2. General Conditions.
By entering, each Contest entrant ("Entrant") and each individual Entrant nominates for consideration agrees to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor relating to the Contest, which are final and binding in all respects. The Contest shall be governed by these Official Rules, the laws of the State of Ohio, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to any conflict of laws principles, and the Sponsor, each Entrant and their nominee(s) irrevocably waive any objection to the venue and jurisdiction of such courts.

4. How to Enter
The Contest is open to any Entrant who is a natural person, is a legal U.S. or Puerto Rico resident, and is over the age of majority in their state of residence. An Entrant may nominate for consideration a U.S. military veteran that is at least 21 years of age and that both owns and occupies their primary place of residence (“Nominee”). For purposes of the Contest, a Nominee must either have completed their tour of duty with the U.S. military or have received an honorable discharge (defined as a discharge from military service with a favorable record). Any prize awarded in the Contest will be awarded only to the winning Nominee(s).
To enter, participants must complete the official online entry form with the option to submit a written story explaining why, or someone they are nominating, truly deserve a flooring makeover. Entries must be received by May 25, 2026. One entry per household.
By submitting an Entry, Entrant represents that: 1) he/she is the original creator and owner of all rights to the Entry, 2) that the Entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other rights of any third party, and 3) the Entry has not previously been published in any medium or entered in any other contest. Entrants and Nominees may be required to provide additional information and/or complete additional documentation as requested by Sponsor, and both Entrant and Nominee must provide such additional information and/or complete additional documentation to verify any aspect of the Entry and/or verify the eligibility of Entrant/Nominee to participate in the Program. Failure by either Entrant or Nominee to respond to Sponsor’s request for additional information and/or failure to provide Sponsor with completed documentation, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, may result in disqualification of the Entry.
5. Contest Structure (Game of Skill)
This is a skill-based contest. No random drawing will occur.
Judging Criteria
Winners will be judged by a neutral panel of judges using the following criteria:

7. Winner Notification and Requirements
The winner will be notified by email or phone on or around May 29, 2026. The winner must respond within 5 days of notification, or an alternate winner may be selected and the winner’s right to the Prize shall be deemed forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account or telephone number. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and a Publicity Release.
8. Publicity & Rights
Each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that each entry becomes the property of the Sponsor. By entering the Contest, each Entrant grants to the Sponsor the right to use and publish the name, photo, photo description, and state of residence of the Entrant, along with any other information in the winning entry via any medium, both electronically (for example, on the Internet, television, or radio) and in print, in connection with the Contest at any time, except to the extent prohibited by law and unless the Entrant has sent to the Sponsor a specific request in writing instructing the Sponsor not to publish the Entrant's name and state of residence. By accepting the Prize, the Winner acknowledges and agrees to the use by the Sponsor, without additional compensation, of his or her name, likeness, photo, and photo title and description for purposes of advertising, trade, and promotion along with any other information in the winning entry via any medium, both electronically (for example, on the Internet, television, or radio) and in print, in connection with the Contest at any time, except to the extent prohibited by law and unless the Winner sends to the Sponsor a specific request in writing instructing the Sponsor not to publish the Winner’s name and state of residence. In addition, the Sponsor reserves the right to use all information related to the Contest, including information on Entrants and Nominees received through the Contest, in any manner permitted by the Privacy Policy.
9. Releases.
By entering the Contest, each Entrant and Nominee releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, Presenting Sponsor, their advertising and promotion agencies, the prize manufacturers, each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or resulting from: (i) any violation by Entrant or Nominee of these Official Rules; (ii) the Contest or the entry; (iii) the acceptance, possession, receipt, or use of any prize; (iv) any incorrect, incomplete, or garbled information caused by any technical or human error that may occur in the operation of the Contest, including without limitation printing or typographical errors in any Contest materials; (v) any problems or technical malfunctions (errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or delays in operation or transmission) of any computer, telephone, modem, online system, server, or other communications equipment or provider; (vi) any failure of e-mail on account of Internet traffic congestion or otherwise (proof of transmission does not constitute proof of delivery); (vii) any entry, e-mail, or other material or correspondence that has been tampered with or that is stolen, misdirected, incomplete, lost, late, nonconforming, ineligible, or damaged; and (viii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or telephone related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Contest. By entering the Contest and/or accepting a prize, the Winner releases Sponsor, Presenting Sponsor and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliated entities, agents, employees, officers, shareholders, suppliers and retailers and their advertising, contest and production companies and agencies from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance, ownership or use of any prize(s).
10. Indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant and Nominee shall indemnify and agree to indemnify Sponsor and Presenting Sponsor at all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses resulting from any act, default or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any warranty set forth herein. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Entrant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or accruing from: (i) any material uploaded or otherwise provided by Entrant that infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, trade dress, patent or other intellectual property right of any person or defames any person or violates their rights of publicity or privacy; (ii) any misrepresentation made by Entrant or Nominee in connection with the Contest; (iii) any non-compliance by Entrant with these Rules; (iv) claims brought by persons or entities other than the parties to these Rules arising from or related to Entrant’s involvement with the Contest; (v) acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Contest-related activity or participation in the Contest; (vi) any malfunction or other problem in relation to the entry and participation in the Contest by Entrant or Nominee; (vii) any error in the collection, processing, or retention of entry or voting information in relation to the Entry and participation in the Contest by Entrant and in the voting process by consumers; or (viii) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize or winners in relation to the entry and participation in the Contest by Entrant or Nominee.

12. General Conditions
By participating in the Contest, Entrants and Nominees accept and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Entries must not have been published previously or used to win prizes in other competitions. An entry cannot be modified after it has been submitted.
Sponsor reserves the right, at any time, to request verification of the age, identity, residential address, or any other information relevant to participation in the Contest of all entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false information or fails to provide information that is requested by the Sponsor.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse to accept entries which are incomplete, indecipherable, offensive, do not comply with these terms and conditions or which contravene any applicable laws or regulations.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant and Nominee who has breached any of these terms and conditions, has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct or otherwise acts to cheat or undermine the fairness of the Contest by, for example, tampering with, or using or exploiting errors in, the entry process to obtain a competitive advantage over other entrants.
The eligibility of entries is solely within the discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, or damaged entries or other communications.
