To preface, the finished floors look fantastic, and the subcontractors that showed up were friendly and clearly experienced. Unfortunately, the process was very frustrating for me due to unmet expectations. I received a bid from three flooring companies for the same space, and while FCI was not the cheapest I was impressed with the vision Carter had for my stairs. At no time when Carter met with me did he imply there would be any additional costs that I should be concerned about; I disclosed that I was comparing their bid to competitors apples to apples. Once the deposit was made and AFTER demo was complete on my flooring, I was told that the project would require an additional 25% of the project total more to cover leveling of floors. I had not budgeted for an extra $4k expense, and when comparing the bids from the other companies they had included an allowance for floor leveling. When I reached out to the PM about my concerns, he explained to me that "this is very normal in the flooring world". Sure, because I live in the flooring world and I should have known to expect such a wild discrepancy in cost. I know it is hard for a business to appease a customer that feels like they are overpaying. Truth be told I would have paid more for these floors because they just look awesome. But if you are a business that cares about your reputation - and FCI clearly does (which I applaud) - then make it right by setting clear financial and process driven expectations out the gate.

My husband and I are so pleased with our floors. We are had the pleasure of working with Sydnee. She was very knowledgeable about the different floor options, professional and patient as we reviewed our options. Garrett arranged the work and was a pleasure with each encounter. He was always prompt to return calls and answer our questions. Raul and Kevin worked extremely hard to complete the job. They were very detailed and diligent on our floor instillation.

I own a 44 year old condo in Spokane that still had the original wall to wall carpet. I selected Floor Coverings International because of their high ratings, and I am very happy to add my own. I had all rooms except the full bath done with Mohawk engineered hardwood. The crews that did the demolition and install were efficient and meticulous in their attention to detail. My garage was used to set up saws, and at the end of each day, everything was swept and the equipment taken away. Excellent work all around, and I very much recommend FCI Spokane for your flooring project.

Exceptional experience from start to finish with FCI Spokane. From the very beginning, the service was friendly, professional, and incredibly thorough. Sydnee, our design associate, came out with samples and took great care in helping us find engineered hardwood flooring that would match our existing floors-which we honestly thought would be impossible since the original product was obsolete. We were amazed they found a Hallmark product that matched beautifully, creating seamless transitions that look absolutely natural. Garrett made scheduling the project easy and stress-free, and the installation crew did outstanding work.
