My flooring review: I cannot recommend this company based on our experience. We hired them to refinish our hardwood floors, but the entire process turned into a stressful and expensive ordeal. The original finish was done improperly, which caused major issues with the floors. Instead of standing behind their work and making things right from the beginning, we were left dealing with repeated problems and a great deal of frustration. When the floors had to be redone, our family was displaced from our home for days. We had to find somewhere else to stay, board our animals, spend extra money on gas, and completely rearrange our lives. This wasn’t just an inconvenience—it created significant financial and emotional stress. Communication throughout the process was disappointing. We often felt like our concerns were minimized instead of taken seriously, and getting clear answers was difficult. What should have been a straightforward flooring project became months of stress, uncertainty, and additional expenses. Everyone can make mistakes, but good customer service is measured by how a company handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported or valued as customers. We were left with the consequences while trying to fight for a proper resolution. If you’re considering hiring this company, I would encourage you to carefully research your options and make sure you understand exactly how warranty claims and workmanship issues will be handled if something goes wrong. I wish our experience had been different, but based on what we went through, I would not use this company again.

We cannot recommend Floor Coverings International if you want a company that corrects installation issues beyond using a floor marker to mask installer-caused scrapes. Be prepared to fight for what you were promised.After installation, two areas had deep scratches from the installer dragging furniture & the bathroom sink. We requested those boards be replaced. We waited weeks between remedies, getting responses only after proactively following up.The day before repair, the office claimed the installer couldn't fix the sink area without a plumber at our expense?despite sales reassuring us there?d be no issues and him installing it fine initially. When challenged, they said, "it?s in the contract."A second installer fixed the sink without a plumber, but lacked boards for the second scratch?despite photos taken a month prior. They then insisted on weeks of delay for a 10-minute inspection. Paying $13k for "super scratch-resistant" floors, quality install & communication shouldn't be hard

From start to finish the salesman, Ethan, the owner Terry and the installation crew were all fantastic. This one is located in Carmel. Several of our neighbors have used them with the same great results. We had two other estimates and hands down this company had better everything, product selection, price, salesman, with easy access for support from the owner. Highly recommend you give them an opportunity. I feel confident you will be impressed like me and my husband.

We recently had the pleasure of working with floor coverings international. Their representative Ron was the best. He took us through the process of finding the right flooring, measuring our rooms and supplying the installers. Hector and Z were phenomenal. They were excellent, fast, efficient and professional. my results are amazing. I would highly recommend floor coverings international of Middletown, New York to anyone that is interested . Our experience with this company couldn’t be more positive! This is the second time we have used them and wouldn’t go anywhere else for flooring. Deb is truly amazing! She’s friendly, knowledgeable and has great communication skills. She never tried to upsell us, but rather let us make our own decisions. The materials and workmanship are outstanding. The crew arrived on time, worked quietly and left the place spotless upon completion of the job. They were very skilled and professional. Highly recommend Deb and her crew! We are thrilled with our new floors!

I'm late writing this because life gets in the way and I wanted to make sure people know how great Glenn was with us . He came to fix our vinyl planks the whole floor was a mess after we had a leak in our building . Glenn was communicative, helped us understand what was going to happen and did an excellent job with our floors as well as some painting on walls and ceiling which were also a mess because of this leak .Glenn did a clean job and kept us posted thru the process. I hope this never happens again but my husband & I both agree we will call Glenn at Floor coverings again when we have an issue in our condo . G & G

Floor Covering International is an excellent company for anyone looking for floor covering of any kind, including custom stairs carpet. From the initial contact to the finish, the service was spectacular. The owner himself came to the house, showing various materials and designs, and the installation about 3 weeks later was done meticulously and professionally. The owner came to to the house during installation to make sure everything was done properly. The price was competitive, and we are very happy with the carpet material and the work on our stairs. I highly recommend this place for floor remodeling.

We did a lot of research for where to purchase carpet and have it installed. I used several forums and AI to filter reviews of installation quality and price. Floor Coverings International was highly ranked and we went to them for a quote. Deb was great - helping us select carpet for our office and bedrooms. The installation was quick and easy and the price was fair.

Devin, Rebecca, Emmanuel, and Fernando were all amazing. Devin and Rebecca kept us informed throughout the project and Fernando and Emmanuel were great installers and very friendly. We had no issues with them in our home doing the work and they kept everything clean. Thank you Devin and team!!!
