"Floor Coverings International Monterey Bay Bernardo and his crew did an outstanding job on my Dad's mobile home in Capitola. They had to remove carpeting that had been installed in 1992. The padding pretty much disintegrated and they had to remove about a 1000 staples. The carpeting was removed in 3 rooms, the large living area, the master bedroom, and a spare bedroom. What was amazing is they finished the job in 2 days ! They then moved all the heavy furniture back in each room. What we can't figure out is how they got those 2 twin sofa sleepers through the door. In any case, if you have any need to install laminate flooring ( we went with LVP with is a higher quality with a moisture barrier ) or any flooring, I would highly recommend Floorings International of Montery. The carpeting was old and smelly, and stained and needed to be removed. There probably was over thousand staples from the padding that had to be removed. Bernardo and his team got the carpet removed and the new floors installed in only 2 days ! Now granted we left the existing floor in the dining room but they had to remove the main living area, a large bedroom, and a smaller bedroom. While my daughter and son in law got all the furniture moved off the floors, they did return and moved the heavy stuff back into each room as directed. They somehow also got 2 twin sofa sleepers inside the living area as directed. They arrived earlier than expected so we gave them the combo to the lock box . When they were done, they locked both doors and put the key back in the lock box. We went with an LVP flooring since that particular brand is moisture proof since we live by the ocean. "Our hardwood floors looked old, worn, and outdated! Floor Coverings international sanded them down (good-bye orange honey-oak) and refinished them the lighter neutral “silvered grey”. They look SO much nicer! The rep we scheduled with (Dan Hauser) was friendly and helpful, and the crew who came out to do the work was thorough. We were leaving for vacation mid-project, and they were good about prompt replies to texts and gave us a few updates which was reassuring when we were not there. The results are beautiful. I’ve attached a few before and after pictures. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again if the need arose. I will be doing a little touching up to my painted white baseboard edges, but I expected that with the power sanding. They did a great job and left the place clean with very little dust."

He also checked back in during the installation to make sure everything was done right. The carpet installers were also very attentive making sure that I had the right carpet and padding.
