"It’s been a few decades since I needed to find a floor-coverings expert in this part of the country. But it didn’t take long to decide that I’d made the right choice in selecting Floor Coverings International of Fort Wayne. My first meeting was with their sales lead, Joe. Right away we struck up a friendly conversation regarding what I was looking for - and what the company had. I was astonished at the full breadth of samples in the company truck! It didn’t take too long to decide on some Luxury vinyl plank for the kitchen - fully waterproof and in a nice almost cherry color. After that the carpet for bedroom, Living room hall and family room came pretty easily. The next part was the most difficult! Waiting for the caroet to get to Fort Wayne. Once it arrived, however, the installation manager, Ike, was at my house with a crew at 8: AM sharp. I have never seen anyone work so quickly, or as efficiently as Juan and the crew! By the end of the day, all but the Bedroom were nearly finished. These guys were all very professional, quick, skilled, personable and I would not hesitate to use them again. You shouldn’t either!"

"I had a great experience with FCI! I have an apartment in a large high rise building that I was remodeling for my parents to move into. The building is extremely strict and has a lot of requirements and rules for what types of flooring can be installed, as well as elevator usage for contractors, etc. Chuck, the contractor from FCI, went out of his way to work with the building to keep everything in line with their requirements. His patience throughout the process was impressive! Also, prior to hiring FCI, it was discovered by a previous contractor after pulling up the carpet, that the floor was extremely unlevel, (a 2 1/2 difference in height from the center of the room to the corner!) That other company said it was beyond their capabilities to install hardwood, vinyl, or tile flooring on such an uneven floor. They said they could only install more carpet, or I was going to have to find another company to work with. With my heart set on removing the carpet, I hired FCI after discovering this problem with the floor. FCI not only was able to flatten out the floor, but the owner, Brian, also suggested flooring choices that would work best with the building's requirements and would actually be less expensive than my original choice. He actually helped me save money on my project and stay under my budget! They installed a luxury vinyl plank floor that has the look of hardwood in the bedroom and living room. For the bathroom they installed a ceramic tile that looks like an elegant white marble. Everything turned out beautifully, I could not be happier with the result! Also, a big thank you to Chuck who went above and beyond to address any and all concerns I had throughout the project. Any issues that came up he would immediately work to resolve them as quickly as possible. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Thank you for everything, Chuck and Brian! You made a beautiful home for my parents."
