Excellent work from start to finish. The entire team was respectful of my time and my property, and FCI was incredibly flexible, even when I changed my mind about some of the details after the initial contract. A tip for anyone shopping for flooring: research the exact underlayment, adhesive, or pad you want and make sure it is specifically identified on the quote. Many quotes simply say "premium" or use a marketing name without telling you exactly what product you are getting. The right underlayment can make a significant difference, particularly if reducing sound transmission is important to you. I went with Sika T21 adhesive in the end. I researched and obtained four different quotes before ultimately choosing FCI. My salesman, Leon, was extremely helpful and patient throughout the process. He answered all of my questions and repeatedly updated my quotes when I asked for additional information, such as the specific padding or adhesive being used, or when I decided I wanted a different adhesive. He also brought full-size wood samples to the house, which made choosing the flooring much easier than trying to make a decision from a tiny sample. The installation itself was spot-on with the promised schedule. No delays and no surprises. Before carrying everything upstairs, the installation team opened a box and verified that the correct flooring had been delivered. That was a small thing, but a very smart step that ensured everyone knew we had the right product before the work began. The installation crew was incredibly professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day, even sweeping as they left to make sure nothing was left behind. They were fast and efficient, completing the project in three days, but never at the expense of quality. The craftsmanship was excellent. My only minor complaint is that I didn't get an opportunity to put felt pads under some of the heavier furniture before, or while, it was being moved back into place. My couch in particular is too heavy for me to lift afterward, so I'm hoping for the best there. In hindsight, I would recommend discussing that with the crew beforehand if you want protective pads placed under heavy furniture. Bottom line: great experience all around. Competitive enough to win out over three other quotes, excellent communication throughout the sales process, professional installation, and very good workmanship. I would absolutely recommend FCI and Leon based on my experience.

Leon is one of the best company representatives I've ever worked with. I was having difficulty find a tile I liked and he kept bringing different tile to my house based on my descriptions. He knew what I wanted but could not find it. He kept on trying and never quit until he finally located the one my wife and I truly liked. I learned a lot from his exemplary knowledge of floor tile. Now, that is outstanding customer service! Like wise, Jason the Project Foreman was outstanding during the existing tile demolition and new tile replacement process. He guided and educated me in tile placement configuration and grout selections for the 3 different areas that required tile replacement due to extensive foundation problems. The work crew was top notch. Their demolition process generated very little dust and the tile replacement was done beautifully. They also moved and shifted the furniture which is a great help to us senior citizens. I can honestly say that choosing Floor Coverings International is one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Amended: After our installation, Javier came to walk the project and noted a couple of issues. The flooring doesn't meet the island and there is a gap. Also the kickplate at the island is not installed correctly and continues to bow out, the flooring does not extend under the dishwasher. He sent his project manager out to schedule the team to return. The project manager came but no one has ever returned to complete the project. We have been trying since April with no returned calls or text messages to the owner or the project manager. My husband went to the showroom today and was told the owner, Javier, was in a meeting. We were promised another call back and are still waiting. At this point, I would not recommend Floor Coverings International. The floors are beautiful, but not complete and we are not able to get any resolution. The entire experience started with meeting with Javier to talk about our flooring ideas and options. We already had flooring upstairs that we wanted to match downstairs and he was able to get the exact same flooring and it’s flawless. The installation was great, the team was pleasant and cleaned up each evening. Our floors are beautiful. I would highly recommend Floor Coverings International Stone Oak to anyone.

We had our whole house (1800+ sq ft) refloored using engineered hardwood and tiles. The flooring looks amazing with transitions and all installation beyond our expectations. Leon and the crew went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Professional in every way. I’m busy finding the tiles for the next project outside and will use Floor Coverings international again. Thank you!
