Great company to work with. Had two rooms installed with luxury vinyl planks. Planning the project with owner, Steven, was an easy and comfortable experience. The installers, Pedro and Arturo arrived on time and they really worked. They finished the two rooms in ONE day! 10/10 will be using FCI again the next time we need flooring work! Was able to book an in-home consultation on 36 hours notice, Austin was well prepared, knowledgeable, super personable and made the whole thing a breeze. This flooring Company is unmatched! We got many different quotes to replace the floors on the 2nd story of our new home and found Kim who came to our house and worked with us tirelessly to make sure we got 100% what we wanted in the end. This took a lot of iterations and scenarios but he was so patient and helpful the entire time. He was also easy to reach and great at communication which was so appreciated. The crew arrived early the day of the project and got it all done within 9 hours, we were SO impressed! The floors look incredible and came out better than we hoped. The price was extremely reasonable and we were charged exactly what we were quoted. Thank you to all for such a positive outcome!

Our experience with FCI of Temecula Valley was exceptional right from the start! We were able to schedule a consultation with Jeremy quickly & easily and he was so diligent about taking time with us to make sure that we understood our options, all our questions were answered and we were confident in our flooring selection. Sheri and Jeremy were both great about reaching out to us about the timeline and what to expect, and were always available for questions or a check in. Payments were all made online and hassle free! The installation team was so efficient, professional and did a wonderful job on our floors. After installation was complete, Jeremy did a walk through with us to ensure that we were happy with our flooring. Overall, the flooring is of great quality and we are so happy with it, but beyond that, the customer service that FCI provided was above and beyond. We’ve already recommended FCI to a friend who also loved their experience, and we’d quickly and happily recommend them again.

Travis was our sales rep who came over to give us an estimate and measure our home and seemed very nice. It was all business and In the end we wanted a written estimate and I asked him for his business card so we can have a point of contact we can remember by since we we had a few other companies coming over to give us an estimate. He said that he would send us his business card digitally and also a written estimate to my email which he never did. He touted how great his company was and if we agreed to going with floor coverings international that he didn't expect any other company could match a five star rating and that 4 star rating companies he wouldn't even bother trying to match their prices because they use lesser quality materials they were dealing with and also that they hired contractors to do their work. A typical salesperson thinking they are the only ones selling high quality flooring and giving me the best deal. He said he can do 3 bedrooms for $6,000 . That seemed really high for 2 small bedrooms and a master bedroom. I was expecting more like under $4,000. Well based on him not following through, I would say the customer service here sucks. I would never go with a company that doesn't follow through on what they say they are going to do. I was given thought about going with this company , but Travis was being really pushy about committing that evening and we wanted to get a few more estimates before calling him back. Since we couldn't even get an estimate written down on paper and/or emailed and his business card we figured he didn't want to do business with us or didn't care after we said we were going to get a few more estimates. Oh well, he lost this possible customer and made this company look bad all because he couldn't follow through on his word. Beware of the pushy salesman and poor customer service. That's a big sign!

hi my name is Charles Brown and I hard floor coverings to do a job for me and my wife at our condo in fort Lauderdale Florida and the gentleman came out was very professional very very polite and showed us different floorings that we could have laid on our laid down on our floor and was very pleased with what we saw and the price that we were given and decided to go with the company and we're very very pleased with the outcome I highly highly recommend this company they do professional work they do great job and we were very satisfied

BEWARE: DECEPTIVE PRACTICES & TOTAL INSTALLATION FAILURE – FCI CHICAGO NORTH SIDE I would give 0 stars if I could. I have never posted an online review in my life, but as a senior citizen, I feel a moral responsibility to warn other homeowners. We paid over $14,000 ( 847 sf )for what was promised to be a “white-glove” professional installation. Instead, my wife and I have endured a nightmare of poor workmanship, technical gaslighting, and a blatant breach of contract. 1. The Most Important Step Was Skipped We hired FCI Chicago North Side specifically because they promised professional subfloor leveling as a core part of the installation. We worked with owner Brian, project manager Chuck, and sales associate Jessie. Despite subfloor leveling being a paid line item in our contract that we verified multiple times, it was skipped entirely. We paid a premium for expertise, yet the company bypassed the most fundamental requirement of a flooring project: a flat surface. 2. The "Extra-Cushiony" Gaslighting Immediately after installation, the floor began moving, flexing, and making crackling noises. When the owner, Brian, and Project Manager, Chuck, inspected the failure, neither brought a straight-edge or any measuring tools. Instead of admitting the error, Brian sent a letter attempting to redefine a structural defect as a "feature," claiming the floor's instability was actually just a "cushiony feeling" inherent to the product. 3. Independent Inspection Proved the Failure The owner attempted to dodge liability by filing a manufacturer product claim. This backfired. The independent inspector confirmed our fears: the subfloor flatness was outside of tolerance and should have been corrected before the floor was ever installed. This was not a product defect; it was a total installation failure due to professional negligence. 4. Serious Technical Red Flags: • Gross Mismanagement: Subcontractors arrived with no knowledge of the scope of work and without the required vapor barrier (which we paid for). • Structural Negligence: Planks were installed tight against all four walls with zero expansion space, a basic error that causes buckling. • Lack of Care: They attempted to install over a wet slab only one day after abatement, prioritizing their schedule over the integrity of our home. 5. Why We Refused the "Spot Repair" Trap Even after an inspector proved the failure was systemic, the owner refused a proper, wall-to-wall correction. He offered only "localized" repairs. As this is a click-lock floating floor, you cannot "patch" it without compromising the locking integrity of the entire system. We refuse to accept a "band-aid" fix for a $14,000 failure. Final Thoughts: This experience has been mentally and emotionally exhausting. FCI Chicago North Side took our money, ignored industry standards, and then tried to blame their own subcontractors for a project their own management supervised. Do not trust this company with your home. They are more interested in protecting their profit margins than delivering the professional results they contract for. I have attached the relevant pages of the Independent Inspection Report (with personal info redacted) which confirms the systemic installation failure and subfloor non-compliance.

Poor communication and disappointing workmanship. The final floor had areas that felt less solid than expected, and the overall result did not match what had been discussed. The main problem was the lack of transparency about subfloor conditions and how they could affect the finished product. That should have been addressed before installation, not after. I would not use this company again.
