We had an amazing experience with Preston and host team at Floor Coverings International. From the initial in home visit, we knew that this company was different. No rushing to make a choice, no hard sales pitch, Preston really took the time to understand the needs of our family and our home. He not only had the samples for us to see in person, but many photos of the same floor in other customers’ homes and a virtual tool to see what it would look like in ours. Pricing was great and he made it very easy to say YES! From the time we signed the agreement it was only a few days before our flooring was ready to install. The installation team was the absolute best! They were so respectful of us, our home and our neighbors. From moving our furniture, leveling the foundation, installing the underpayment and flooring, to moving everything back and cleaning up after themselves. Yes, I said they cleaned up after, which we have not always had with other vendors who have worked on and around our home. Oh and they took the time to remove our toilet and pedestal sink in the bathroom rather than just installing around them so we have a seamless look. Pardon the mess in my before photos, but I wanted to share what an amazing transformation FCIi made in my home. And it was such an incredible experience, I HIGHLY recommend that you consider them if you’re updating your floors. At least give Preston a chance to come in and give you “The Preston Experience!”

The entire flooring process was easy from start to finish. Preston was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in guiding me through my flooring options and helping me find the right fit for my hone. His team was professional, courteous, and respectful of my property throughout the installation. The quality of work exceeded my expectations, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Preston and Floor Coverings Int. were wonderful to work with! They were shockingly prompt in getting back to me after I filled out the convenient project query on their website. And were excited and flexible in helping figure out my specific project- repurposing a vintage rug into stair runners. They had an opening the very next day to come out and complete install. They were fast, efficient, clean, and professional and I would recommend working with them for your flooring projects.

Preston and his team went above and beyond to get our flooring project completed under some very challenging circumstances. A number of things went wrong that were completely outside their control: I missed a flight and couldn't be present for the installation (had to get family to coordinate), and the weather was rainy. The team handled everything professionally. They meticulously staged the carpet in the garage and took care to keep everything completely dry and protected. They had pop up tents to transport the carpets from the truck to the garage so nothing got wet. Since I wasn't able to be there in person, they kept me informed throughout the process, sending photos and videos so I could verify decisions. The workmanship was excellent, and the entire project turned out fantastic. I also appreciated the range of carpet options available. I wanted richer, gemstone-inspired colors as accent carpets in some rooms while keeping other spaces in more neutral sandy and beige tones. There were enough color choices to make that possible. Excellent communication, great problem-solving, and outstanding installation quality. I would happily recommend.

Preston was truly amazing. He helped my family when we needed carpet padding replacement and we couldn’t find anyone else to help without charging ridiculous prices. He not only gave the padding to us for no charge he delivered it to our home. It was also his highest quality padding. In a world where everyone is out for themselves and to make any dollar they can, this experience was amazing and unexpected. I can not recommend them enough. I will always use this company for any flooring needs and refer them to everyone I can. Great man, great attitude, great business practices.

I am very happy with my experience with Floor Coverings International of Clear Lake. I had wood floors installed and carpet replaced. Preston is extremely knowledgable and helped me pick the right match to my existing wood floor, and a beautiful carpet. With many options to choose from, what could have been a daunting experience was easy and seamless given Preston's expertise. When it came to the installation, the team worked quickly and they were all very professional and courteous. My home was clean after the work was done and everything looks amazing. Communication was top notch through every step of the process. Thanks for the incredible work!

Floor Coverings International did an amazing job re-applying my mother’s very old carpet after we had to have it lifted for some foundation repair. Another company told us that they couldn’t do it, but Floor Coverings International not only did it, but left it looking better than it did before the foundation work. Excellent customer service and excellent work. Highly recommended.
