FCI installed wood flooring in our house back in July, replacing our old, dirty carpet. It’s been about two months now, and we are really happy with the results. My wife and I are both designers, so we have to admit that we are pretty picky about the quality of the work and the materials. But honestly, FCI exceeded our expectations. Joseph was great to work with. He was very patient and never pushy, which we really appreciated (we spent a long time to decide which type of wood to be used). Whenever we had a question or needed something, he was always very quick to respond. Simon was our project manager and came by to check on the progress and quality of the work. He was on vacation for a few days, and Johnnie, the owner, came by during that time. Johnnie knew what was going on with the project and was able to answer our questions and take care of any issues that came up. The installation crew was also very professional and paid a lot of attention to the details. My parents were living with us at the time, so we had a pretty full house while the work was being done. They were able to work around our situation, and we didn’t have to move to a hotel. (we didn’t mind putting up with some dust and sleeping in a dusty room for a couple of nights!) We were definitely picky customers, but the whole experience with FCI was actually very easy and enjoyable. We are very happy with how the floors turned out. Thanks to Joseph, Simon, Johnnie, and the installation team. We highly recommend FCI!

I had 2 small cabins with laminate floors that had shifted. We weren’t ready to replace the entire floor yet so we asked floor coverings international to repair them. They showed up and were awesome to work with. They communicated well, fixed everything fixable and repaired everything that was repairable at a great price. I will definitely call them back for my next project!

I have worked with FCI multiple times, and they are always on time and go above and beyond to make the jobs stress free and easy! I cannot express enough that you should call them for any of your flooring needs. Whether it be carpet, laminate, or tile, they will do it right. An honest review that is long overdue! We contacted Johnnie Akin at FCI in December 2025 while interviewing flooring companies to install white oak engineered flooring in the dream home we had just purchased. Johnnie made himself available quickly, even on short notice, and arrived with a wide variety of flooring samples. Being able to see the options inside our home, with our lighting and finishes, made the selection process so much easier than trying to choose from samples in a warehouse. Johnnie provided a competitive quote and a great turnaround time, so we decided to hire him and his team. We are so glad we did! They installed our flooring beautifully, meticulously, and within a short timeframe. The entire team went above and beyond, paying close attention to every detail without cutting corners.
