I wanted an eco-friendly kitchen floor that would pair with 50-year old hardwoods. Didn't want tile - - too hard. Lux vinyl, with it's wood-like looks wouldn't work - so I settled on cork. For some reason, I thought it would be a simple choice. Turns out, not everyone has the expertise to work with cork. The manufacturer, WeCork connected me with Mike and his team at Floor Covering International Mainline. He came personally to inspect the job and quote a price. Two weeks later, he and his expert installer, Junior, were on the job, and finished in a day, in spite of a few unforeseen snags. The worked neatly, move appliances gently, and I could not be happier with the result. This is exactly what I envision and I'm so thankful to them. Do not hesitate to choose them for your next project.

Floor Coverings International comes highly recommended from this satisfied customer! From the initial phone call to the floor being installed, the customer service was seamless. An appointment was set up for a Saturday at my convenience. Mike and Nick showed at the exact set time, they were Covid conscious and took their time with discussing my options. The floor samples were with them and there were many from which to pick. The flooring was ordered, the day to install was scheduled and the work began in a timely fashion. My entire kitchen had a new floor installed in a five hour time frame. The installer was very efficient, did a great job cleaning up and the old floor was disposed of on the same day. Both Mike and Nick came to my house to instruct the worker at the beginning of the job and then again, when the floor was completed. I have no experience with Floor Coverings International because their estimate was SEVEN TIMES higher than any of my other four estimates. This includes obscene freight charges for tiles that I already have. They wanted $13k+ for 500 square feet of tiling in one room. Clearly they demonstrated to me that 1) the were not serious about doing business, and 2) they lost work during the pandemic and wanted to pass their losses to the consumer. Don't be fooled! If contractors prices are higher, it should only reflect the rising cost of materials. That was not the case here.

I was helping a family member with some basement flooding and had the great fortune of working with Floor Coverings International Mainline. There was just a bit of water in the basement and in about 24 hours, our water resistant laminate floors were ruined. Wish we knew about Floor Coverings International Mainline 3 years earlier - would have paid the same amount to have a truly waterproofed option that wouldn’t need replacing. At least now we feel secure knowing these new floors are actually water resistant! The guys at Floor Coverings International Mainline were professional, went above and beyond, were prompt and thorough and most importantly found a solution that met our needs. I highly recommend them!
