We recently installed luxury vinyl in our finished basement from Floor Coverings International. Our sales person Darrell was extremely helpful in showing us what was best for our floor choices. His digital tool allowed us to see our choices using a picture he had taken of the area. When we had more questions, he came back and showed us some more choices. We decided to move forward! The installers, Darrel and James came about a week later and started to prep the concrete floor for installation. They discussed with us what they were going to do and asked if we had any questions. They completed the project over two days and did a great job. They went above and beyond what was originally planned for, and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! Floor Coverings International is a local company with great people. They communicate well and do what they say they’re going to do. We highly recommend this company if you need flooring installed in your home.

We experienced water damage and obtained several quotes. Our insurance company requested that we also get a quote from TradePro, which came in as the lowest bid. They contract their work through Jamie’s company. Because their reviews were strong (4.9), we felt comfortable moving forward. We were very clear — multiple times — that we wanted our damaged Mirage flooring replaced with the same Mirage product. Jamie took a sample, and we confirmed both with TradePro and our insurance representative that the quote reflected Mirage flooring. When Jamie came to our home for what we believed was a final measurement, he arrived with different flooring samples and informed us that Mirage was “much more expensive” than what had been quoted. At that point, it became clear that the original quote was not for the product we repeatedly specified. This was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. I immediately asked Jamie to leave our home. Transparency from the beginning would have saved everyone time and frustration.

Jamie came out to measure and gave me an estimate. He was very professional and personable. I was especially impressed with the digital measuring equipment he had and the accuracy of it. I found the exact plank color and quality that I was looking for and Jamie went above and beyond to coordinate installation. Daryl came in on installation day and immediately took charge of my project which really gave me peace of mind. The installation was very professional and we are really happy with the finished product. The floor is beautiful and I consider myself blessed that I was able to find an honest group of people that did what they said they were going to do!

We have worked with FCI twice in our home and would happily work with them again if we ever needed to. Their sales people and installers have been wonderful. Respectful, professional, kind, and safe. I’ve genuinely enjoyed having them in our home. In 2023 they installed stone core LVP in approx 3500 sqft in I believe 4 days and every inch of it looks incredible. The speed was doubly appreciated as our home was a fixer upper and uninhabitable due to the putrid floors the house came with. Most recently, we finished our bathrooms and our sales person, Jamie, and our installer, Ken, were fantastic. Informative, helpful, and all around good people.
