I want to express my appreciation for Missy's exceptional support during our flooring selection process, even though we ultimately did not place our order with the company due to unforeseen circumstances. She went above and beyond, returning multiple times to help us choose the right flooring, and when it finally arrived, it truly took my breath away. Working with her was a pleasure; she demonstrated patience and a genuine willingness to listen to our needs throughout the experience. Should I require flooring services in the future, I will certainly recommend Missy and her team without hesitation.

As a first time home buyer I am of the opinion that the service provided by this company is not cheap. That said, absolutely worth the investment. These folks do great work and you get exactly what you pay for. I will be using their services again in the event that I need flooring work done in the future. No need to look further, FCI will help you protect your investment in your home and provide the comfort you seek from your floor.

Buying carpet is a huge undertaking and Missy made my experience as stress-free as it could be. She was so patient and had suggestions on what carpet would be best for my high traffic area. No pressure sales. I think she came to my house 3 times prior to me deciding what I wanted. I had time to look at the samples in all different lighting and decide what I wanted. She was able to use AI to show me what my bathroom could look like with LVP. I could not ask for a better experience. Chase, the installer was friendly, talented and explained what he was doing and worked with our schedules. At all times we were contacted when he would be arriving, taking breaks and leaving. Clean up was amazing! I remain very happy with our new carpet and LVP. I highly recommend this wonderful team of Missy, Katherine and Chase from Floor Coverings International.

I paid approximately $800 to have brand new baseboards installed in one room. Of note, previous baseboards were higher. They did not repair/strengthen the drywall above after tearing it off. I ended up paying the painters $400 extra to fix the drywall above the new baseboards prior to painting. Unfortunately, this was my experience: * Several joints were left visibly rough and unfinished. * I contacted Missy while the contractor was still at my house the first time so the problem could be addressed again before he left. He attempted to fix again and said it would look better after the paint dried (it did not) * The contractor returned 2nd time after I sent pictures of the specific concerns again. The owner returned a third time to sand and paint (4th repair, third visit) but the cosmetic defects remained. I had asked to have a different contractor who was possibly more skilled to come fix it; she said not possible given the availability. * A solution offered was to have our painters (separate company that I hired) to fix it. I stated I did not want to have to pay them extra for something that I hired Flooring Coverings to do. * I later texted Missy a photo of the final result, said “thank you for trying,” and explained that I would try to fix it myself. * Her next response was that she would send the payment link for the remaining balance, without acknowledging the defects still visible in the photo. * I had given up after multiple unsuccessful repair attempts and was concerned that further work could damage my newly painted walls, flooring, or baseboards. * Although I work in healthcare and have no background in carpentry or finish work, I was able to correct the junction myself using basic supplies. This demonstrated that the defect was repairable. The attached photos show the original work, their final repair attempt, and my repair before its final coat of paint. I have not had the time to complete the other 3 joints yet. I dislike leaving negative reviews because Missy is kind and clearly puts a lot of heart into her business. The contractor was extremely kind-hearted as well. They are all great people. However, for the price and company specialty, I expected better attention to detail and quality control. I wanted to share honest outcomes and I will let the pictures speak for themselves. If the quality in the initial pictures are sufficient for your needs, I would recommend the company. It just was not the right fit for my needs. It was unfortunate that each time pictures were shown, instead of stating that they will come right away to fix it because it is not up to THEIR standards, they continued to leave the joints unfinished and then ask if I’m happy with it. At the end I just told her I will fix it on my own. Missy contacted me after seeing this review and offered another (4th) repair. Since I had already corrected the junction myself, I am requesting reimbursement for the supplies I had to buy and will update this review if the issue is resolved.

Great initial consultation. Very happy with the overall experience. Missy went out of her way to be helpful, fair, and make sure we were satisfied with the end product. The personal attention beats what you get at big box stores.
