We hired this flooring company to refinish the floors in our home after receiving a quote from the owner, Wes. We paid a deposit and trusted this company to do the work professionally. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, from the quality of the work to the communication and lack of resolution. There were issues from the start, including poor communication, concerns about how the work was being handled, and problems with the quality of the workmanship. As the job progressed, our concerns continued to grow, and what should have been an exciting experience preparing our first home turned into an incredibly stressful situation. While we were away, we trusted this company with our home. We were never informed what time the workers would arrive, our home was left a mess on multiple occasions at the end of the day, and our doors were left wide open while we were gone. We trusted them to respect our home and keep it secure, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. Once the workers were considered "finished," we noticed the job was not done properly and that there were issues throughout our living room and dining room. These included mismatched wood, inconsistent stain coloring, excessive filler, gaps, uneven transitions, and an unfinished appearance. The baseboards were also damaged during the work, and we were never informed about the damage. Instead of communicating with us about the damage and discussing how it should be addressed, Wes instructed his workers to replace the damaged baseboards with a random piece of wood that does not match the existing trim. Decisions about our home were made without our knowledge or consent, leaving the area looking unfinished and showing a lack of care and professionalism. When we confronted Wes about these issues, his response was extremely disappointing. Rather than taking accountability and working with us toward a solution, he became argumentative, defensive, and dismissive of our concerns. His handling of the situation came across as careless and unprofessional, making an already stressful experience even worse. Two months later, these issues still remain unresolved. What was supposed to be a job that took no more than a week has turned into a drawn-out nightmare. Instead of settling into and enjoying our new home as first-time homeowners, we are still dealing with the consequences of this sloppy work. We are now forced to hire another company to correct these issues, which has been another headache because other contractors have been reluctant to take on the job of correcting someone else's poor workmanship. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company at all.

I was hoping a better experience. When I hired these flooring guys. The owners and the guys who does the work was not professional and had no communication whatsoever so ever . The amount money they charge me and the work they did was not same.i am still finning holes on my floor under vanities. Where is very hard to see. Over all, No will not hired them back.i don’t don’t recommend.

Our experience with Floor Coverings International was very positive from start to finish. The owner, Wes, was easy to work with, explained everything beforehand and had great follow up to our questions. He was also very flexible when scheduling our project. We live in an old house with its original hardwood floors that were in desperate need of refinishing, not a small undertaking! The crew that did the refinishing were excellent. Not only was the final product even better than we imagined, they were friendly , diligent in their communication and very hard working. I want to give a shout out to their crew Lead, Eddie, he was a true pleasure to work with and was very professional. Once the project was done, Wes did a great job following up and inspecting the final product with us.
