Let's start this off by saying we are repeat customers at FCI. Thet redid the flooring six years ago when we we getting it ready to sell. They did a great job back then also. Carpet replace and hardwood refinish. Let's come to today. This job started with Jay coming out measusring, showing samples, showing us different carpet/padding combinations. Accepted the job and wrote a deposit check. Took about 4 days for the carpet to become available and we received the call to schedule installation. Picked a Saturday install. Communication on installation day was excellent. Installers arrived, came in and checked things out when they discovered the carpet they had wasn't mine. It was the correct color, but there wasnt enough to do the whole job. I noted that the padding they had was not the memory foam upgrade we had selected. So they packed up and left. Come Monday we descovered there were multiple orders for people with the same last name as mine. My carpet came available on Wednesday and they were back out here on Thursday installing it. The installers moved all the furniture out of the rooms removed all the oild carpeting and padding. Got the new carpet installed, cleaned up the mess and got the furniture moved back in. Got contacted today about the balance due and they had already given me a little credit the the error. I totally understand that problems occur and it's how you deal with them that counts. And I feel they dealt with the problem with total fairness.

Easy to order, convenient to be able to make choices and decisions in my home. Great job of installation! In fact, these installers re-stretched and fixed older carpet (one room that we weren't replacing) that had been poorly installed the first time. All looks great!

Alexandria was professional and friendly. I enjoyed picking out the flooring with her. I was impressed with the contractor's work and how he cleaned up after the job. The floors look great, thanks to all that worked on this project.

I have used Floor Coverings for 2 different projects and have been totally satisfied with the quality of the installation, in home consultation from Katie and materials used. Let me say they can do it all ! My 2 projects were 1) refinishing our hardwood floors on our 1st floor and then new hardwood run up the stairs & office on 2nd floor 2) later in 2020 they carpeted 3 bedrooms and installed laminate wood planks throughout our finished basement. Couldn't be more satisfied of the work done.

We cannot recommend Floor Coverings International if you want a company that corrects installation issues beyond using a floor marker to mask installer-caused scrapes. Be prepared to fight for what you were promised.After installation, two areas had deep scratches from the installer dragging furniture & the bathroom sink. We requested those boards be replaced. We waited weeks between remedies, getting responses only after proactively following up.The day before repair, the office claimed the installer couldn't fix the sink area without a plumber at our expense?despite sales reassuring us there?d be no issues and him installing it fine initially. When challenged, they said, "it?s in the contract."A second installer fixed the sink without a plumber, but lacked boards for the second scratch?despite photos taken a month prior. They then insisted on weeks of delay for a 10-minute inspection. Paying $13k for "super scratch-resistant" floors, quality install & communication shouldn't be hard

I received a word of mouth referral from a painting company for Floor Coverings International. Jay was very responsive and walked me through the process of choosing the right flooring from his truck full of samples. The install happened quickly and everything turned out great. I would highly recommend using FCI for your flooring needs. Pleasant and professional people to work with.

What a fantastic experience! When my Mother in Assisted Living needed her carpeting replaced, the first contact I made was with Empire and it was a runaround disappointment. Then I did some research and found Floor Coverings International. From Jake (estimate) to Iliane (installation) it was smooth sailing. They were kind, empathetic, and completely professional. They made the entire process so easy and painless, and the price was incredibly reasonable. Even my cynical son said, "WOW, Mom, you got a good deal!" Thank you for taking such great care of this situation. I would highly recommend them to anyone, both for the customer service and the final product which turned out beautiful. Thank you!!
