I highly recommend Floor Coverings International! They did two projects for us on the lower floor of our home, and a year later I still love how everything turned out. Eric was very helpful in explaining our best flooring options, color matches and the entire flooring process. Patricia was also very helpful in communication and scheduling. Everything was completed in the expected (and the very short) timeframe and handled with utmost professionalism AND care. I appreciated that they made sure everything was to their own high standards. A year later and our floors still look fantastic and that's with dogs and small kids!

Floor Coverings International West Denver is a local family business consisting of Steve, Darrel, and Erin, but is part of a larger national brand. I have returned to them to lay new flooring on another area of my condominium. I have interacted mostly with Steve Raney and Darrel on my work requests. They have been very personable, professional, transparent in their pricing, and reliable, and they have been accommodating of our work schedules in completing their tasks. Their workmanship is excellent, and the flooring products they install are notably of a higher quality than most (even with their lower-tier options). They do it at a very competitive cost.  I also needed some sub-floor smoothing and leveling before the tile and plank flooring installations, which they did very well. I highly recommend Floor Coverings International West Denver for your flooring installation needs.

I got my floors done with this company, overall I am glad because I needed to remove and replace the carpet, so I chose to go with the laminate. At the initial meeting, I was promised the creaking boards in my room would be corrected, they would replace the joints or put nails in, and buff or sand whatever was needed. That Did Not happen. There is still creaking in 1 room, my room, so not happy about that, and the floor was great underneath, I feel the guys just didn’t do it, although I was told by the initial guy (Scott) to let them know and he would as well. Either way it still creaks and I don’t need any engineers or anything like that. The house is not even 20 years old, It just wasn’t fixed, also the guys were a little reckless, they chipped paint off my walls, in several places and scuffed plenty of walls. There are 2 upstairs bathrooms, they both have different pieces of wood, 1 is flat the other is sort of lifted, like a ramp. Also the laminate on the 2nd floor top of the stairs is lifted, so if not careful one can trip, in addition the floor upstairs is a little bouncy, maybe they could have evened it or put extra padding, I don’t know, I’m not a tiler or floor expert. I do know I paid $7500 and change. I do expect them to replace the lifted laminate, also the guys didn’t speak much English so could not communicate effectively, they did send someone to look at the lifted laminate after the fact, also barely any English, they said “the laminate is glued on pretty good, it’s not coming off” . The concern wasn’t that it’s coming off, it’s that it’s uneven. I had them leave, they were useless. I also paid for the furniture removal, they didn’t unmount the beds, they dragged the bed in my room which is very heavy, and only 1 year old, I have all receipts, now it sounds like something is loose, makes noise where it didn’t before. I also had to hammer down a few nails sticking out of the 1/4 rounds. I do like how the floor looks, just wish I got a better job and a better team for what I paid, it was not cheap at all. Oh, I also bought them pizza the 1st day, figured they’re working in my home, let me be nice, they left the damn pizza box with 2 slices in my upstairs room, didn’t even throw it out, damn. I found it that evening, so not impressed with them at all. Can anyone say unappreciative. The stairs do look good tho.

These people told us our flooring was a three day job. Two rooms. First they continuously didn't show up when they said they would. Second, they ordered the wrong color and type of tile and we were told basically too bad that it's not what you picked out or paid for it's what you're getting. Third, they never even came back and finished the job. After a month of not hearing a thing, we called someone else to come and finish. Fourth, they broke the toilet and we had to replace it, their plumber rehooked the sink incorrectly and it leaked, so we had to pay a plumber to redo it, among other things. Fifth, they didn't clean up after themselves at all. I found a trash bag leaking a vile substance that was left in my library to sit after they worked a couple hours and took off for a long weekend. Apparently I was supposed to lift it. And haul it away myself. That 6 star review probably came from the owner of the business. Do NOT hire these people, they have no idea what they've foo g and the work is beyond shoddy.
