I recently had my floors done through Sara’s company, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with her. From beginning to end, Sara made the entire process incredibly easy, smooth, and completely stress\-free. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and attentive throughout the entire process. What really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with every decision. Her design advice and recommendations were so informative and helpful.She has a great eye for design and was able to guide me in the right direction without ever making me feel pressured. She took the time to explain my options, answer my questions, and help me feel confident about the choices I was making for my home. Sara’s customer service skills are truly exceptional\. She was responsive, organized, patient, and always made me feel like a priority. Home improvement projects can easily become stressful, but she made the experience feel effortless. Everything was handled professionally and efficiently, and I always felt like I knew exactly what was happening throughout the process. The finished floors came out absolutely beautiful, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. It is rare to find someone who combines professionalism, knowledge, efficiency, excellent communication, and genuinely outstanding customer service the way Sara does. If I could give her more than five stars, I absolutely would 1000/10 for customer service I would recommend Sara without hesitation to anyone looking to have their floors done. She truly goes above and beyond for her customers, and I am so happy I chose to work with her.

My wife and I hired Floor Coverings International of Jersey City to replace our hardwood floors and subfloor (which had squeaking and unevenness issues) and refinish the stairs and second-floor hardwood in our 1,200 sq ft condo duplex. The whole project took 4 days. Sary Cedeno, the owner, exceeded our expectations from the first visit. Unlike other vendors who took a few quick measurements and left, Sary meticulously measured throughout the apartment, examined how the existing hardwood met appliances and cabinets, and took detailed photos and video of the space. She guided us through product selection and stayed responsive throughout. After we signed, Sary and project manager Jessica Ramos made sure all the paperwork was handled and the installation date we'd agreed on didn't slip. The install team, led by Christian, worked with excellent attention to detail — the sanded and refinished stairs and upstairs floors matched seamlessly to the new main-floor hardwood. Great communication, transparency, and craftsmanship start to finish. Highly recommend.

I was dreading replacing my old carpet but FCI made the experience so much better than what I was worrying about. From the initial consultation to the end they were great. Sary was wonderful, very easy to contact, answered all questions, and was so very helpful, as was the office as well. The install was great. They moved the big pieces of furniture, removed the old floors, installed the new, and cleaned up nicely. Very polite and professional. I would definitely recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the work Floor Coverings International did. They didn’t just install new floors—they took the time to fix an issue that was already there so everything would come out right. It’s clear they care more about doing the job properly than just getting it done. If you want quality work from people who take pride in what they do, I’d definitely recommend them.

A great experience. They finished my entire first floor in one day. The contractors were professional l, kind, and hustled to finish. The company had a point of contact that checked in and stopped by often. A really great experience. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and my new floors looked great!
