My flooring review:I cannot recommend this company based on our experience.We hired them to refinish our hardwood floors, but the entire process turned into a stressful and expensive ordeal. The original finish was done improperly, which caused major issues with the floors. Instead of standing behind their work and making things right from the beginning, we were left dealing with repeated problems and a great deal of frustration.When the floors had to be redone, our family was displaced from our home for days. We had to find somewhere else to stay, board our animals, spend extra money on gas, and completely rearrange our lives. This wasn’t just an inconvenience—it created significant financial and emotional stress.Communication throughout the process was disappointing. We often felt like our concerns were minimized instead of taken seriously, and getting clear answers was difficult. What should have been a straightforward flooring project became months of stress, uncertainty, and additional expenses.Everyone can make mistakes, but good customer service is measured by how a company handles those mistakes. Unfortunately, we did not feel supported or valued as customers. We were left with the consequences while trying to fight for a proper resolution.If you’re considering hiring this company, I would encourage you to carefully research your options and make sure you understand exactly how warranty claims and workmanship issues will be handled if something goes wrong.I wish our experience had been different, but based on what we went through, I would not use this company again or recommend them.

Janna was the best. She came in, made the calculations quickly and correctly. Being a former contractor myself, I knew the square footage. A different group came in before her and was 15 sq. Ft. Off. Janna was also very friendly and helpful.

The team did a beautiful job installing vinyl flooring in our kitchen, laundry room, and bathroom! The project was expected to take two days and they were done in one! Janna made the process smooth from start to finish. We would choose Floor Coverings International again.

They have refinished my floors. Not even a year there coming apart and crowning. They have done them for free the 2nd time but will not help us pay for hotel, pet fee, and gas. Since they screwed up we are out of $1,500. Wish we would have went with another floor company. ​

So thankful to have found Floor Covering International pretty early on in our search to replace carpet on the upper level of our home. Although a minor hiccup in communication set our initial meeting back, Marty and her husband were quick to communicate with us to get the consultation and project on track. Our questions were answered in detail and all of our options clearly explained.On the install, they carefully moved all necessary furniture off the old carpet and moved it back to its precise position once they were done. They also disposed of all the old materials properly and took care not to damage our home although they carried heavy items up and down steps. The team was very time efficient overall. Being able to enjoy our space with quality carpet has made all the difference on our home. Would highly recommend them to tackle any flooring job!

My new Luxury tile floors are beautiful! The men did most of my townhome in one day. They made sure that I was comfortable the whole time that they were here. They completely cleaned up before they left. Before they moved any furniture to start the job they took a picture of the furniture placement so they would get everything back correctly. Of course, I wanted to move a couple of pieces of furniture and the men kindly did that. Janna and everyone at the company were so kind to work with. Janna brought the samples right to my living room for me to make my selection. I’m so happy that I was lucky enough to find this company here in Kernersville.Betsy Padgett Richardson

They refinished our floors now our floors are coming up less than a year. Three flooring company's have said there alot of machine spots around that area.

We had our living room, kitchen, and our master bedroom changed from poorly laid solid wood floors and carpet to glue down LVP (Luxury Vinyl Planking) by Karndean. Janna was our representative from the Floor Coverings International. She did a great job of providing samples and advising us what wear thickness we would need that would stand up to my wife's wheelchair. She was there to answer our questions, even after hours. The crew that installed our floors Diego and Frank (They did a great job) completed the job in 3 days. Ripping out the old wood floor and carpet, and installing the glue down LPV. They moved the furniture and things that were already in the room to other areas with care. Then replaced where we wanted them. This included helping me to install felt pads under furniture to help protect the floor. I am very satisfied with the way things turned out. I would recommend them to help with your project.
