I had an outstanding experience with Floor Coverings International of Greensboro! Owner Michael Howard is a true gentleman whose relaxed, friendly personality immediately puts you at ease. There was never any pressure—he listened carefully to what I wanted, offered thoughtful recommendations, and then returned with boxes of samples once I narrowed my choices to a few flooring styles. Michael’s approach is a refreshing change from many home-improvement companies. He was present on installation day to make sure the crew understood the scope of the project, and he returned the following day to inspect the work and ensure everything met expectations before billing. That level of personal involvement and accountability is rare. Michael genuinely believes that he is not finished until the customer is satisfied. He welcomed feedback, acted promptly when something needed attention, and followed through to make sure it was resolved properly. Competing with the large flooring retailers, Floor Coverings International of Greensboro provides the kind of personal service, professionalism, fair pricing, and kindness that big-box companies often cannot match. Michael goes above and beyond, and I would confidently recommend him to anyone considering new flooring!

Michael and Richard were great! I bought a 1931 old house which needed attention to the floors. They explainerd everything they would be doing based on what I wanted to do. Richard is very skilled! He flawlessly replaced a board where there was termite damage. Took painted thresholds back down to the wood and able to stain them to match the floors perfectly. And one of the thresholds needed repair which he took care of. Also had some deep gouges in living room floor. Can’t even tell where they were when Richard finished. At some point built ins were added in dining room. Had them removed and the flooring had to be stained to match the rest of the floor. Again perfectly done. Richard even pointed out that one of the return vents in the baseboard of a bedroom. was unale to open. He fixed 😊. Thank you both again!

I would highly recommend working with FC International. Russ was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. My toilet started leaking due to shifting in the floor of the shower portion of my bathroom. Russ was thorough in assessing the preliminaries and Adrian performed the work meticulously…finishing ahead of schedule. In terms of cost, I feel it was worth every penny.

Mr. Howard and his team made this process from start to finish so easy and stress-free. Mr. Howard came to the home showed me the samples that they had measured the house and gave me two quotes for two different styles. We really love the one that we went with. His team came in did everything that they said that they would do with moving the furniture and putting everything back, they even took pictures of where things were. They finished in the time that they said that they would did some things that needed to be tweaked that I didn't realize, but the process was so easy and stress-free, and we LOVE the new flooring.
