Marty and his team at Floor Coverings Intl in Cary really were fantastic! When we first started shopping for carpet, we didn't know where to begin or what to ask. We went to the warehouse stores but couldn't get much help or detailed explanations. We called other independent stores and they were pretty good, but we felt unimportant and still largely uninformed. Marty Hartwell from FCI came to our home and brought a huge assortment of samples we could browse in our own home. He helped us narrow our choices to just a few and uktimaulti the one best choice. Installation could not have gone better and we love our new Berber carpet. Totally love our new room! Thank you, Marty. Happy to recommend him to anyone who wants flooring done right.

I was overwhelmed after visiting large flooring stores, interacting with high-pressure sales people, viewing a dizzying array of flooring choices at exorbitant price points. What a godsend to have found Floor Coverings International online. The entire process — from selection through installation — was a white glove experience. Within a few days, Marty (the owner) arrived at my home with a generous supply of samples based on the telephone conversation that preceded his visit. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional, above board with respect to pricing, and a really nice guy. I chose a beautiful laminate for two bedrooms, hallway and family room, a plush carpet for the stairs — and came in under budget! The work crew did an exemplary job laying the floors. They were neat, and there was minimal disruption to my home. If you’re in the market for flooring, do yourself a HUGE favor. CALL MARTY!

Marty is exceptional. We had never had carpet installed before so we needed to learn all about our options. When shopping at the big retailers we felt rushed and there was an evident lack of detail. Marty was the exact opposite. He came out the next day to our house and met with us, giving us a thorough explanation of what worked best for our needs. He listened and was always willing to offer suggestions to guide you to make the right decision. He's very responsive and helped us pick high quality berber carpet that was much lower in price than any of the other quotes we received. The install was coordinated perfectly, on-time and efficiently done. There is nothing I would've done differently, we love the carpet and hope to have Marty's team back soon to help us with a runner on the stairs.

We had such a great experience with Marty and his company. He was extremely quick to respond and came out to my house with all of his samples. It couldn’t have been easier to choose something for our stair runner. It was installed very quickly and well done. We had an issue with the supply but Marty took care of everything and professionally. Could not be happier with everything!
