I regret to say that my experience with this company has been nothing short of disappointing. After three exhausting months of trying to resolve issues and get what I paid for, I am finally giving up. Despite my patience, the constant disruptions to my family’s life and the poor quality of work have left me completely dissatisfied. The problems began with the installation of the wrong carpet. No one took responsibility for the mistake, and although it was eventually replaced, it required fully installing the incorrect carpet, waiting a month, and then uprooting my entire house, despite being assured this wouldn’t be necessary. They did offer me $1,000 to accept the mistake and the wrong carpet that was installed. The issues didn’t stop there. It has taken five separate visits to address problems with the wood flooring and stair treads they installed. Even now, several issues remain unresolved, including incomplete vent cover installations, molding problems, chipped edges on boards, and uneven flooring. Despite their claims that customer satisfaction is their goal, there has been no genuine effort to rectify these issues. I will say they did one solid and reinstalled a portion of the carpet and padding that had got damaged by another contractor... I did ask to be invoiced, when they made it an issue. At one point, one of their representatives made a statement "I needed to feel like I had a reason to be upset" which was both unprofessional and dismissive. This entire experience has been a $20,000 mistake on my part, and I strongly urge others to avoid entering into any agreements with this company. Their lack of accountability and poor service make it clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them.

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International North Twin Cities. The in-home consultation was super convenient and made the whole process easy from the start. They brought plenty of samples and took the time to answer our questions without any pressure. Installation went smoothly, the crew was professional and respectful of our home, and the floors turned out better than we expected. Everything was well-communicated and on schedule. We’re very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for new flooring.
