We had a difficult project we wanted to have done. It’s an old house, 1913, and we are trying to keep it looking period appropriate. We wanted a runner for the stairs. The stairs have a landing half-way up, then turn to the upstairs. The carpet we chose has a pattern to it so the landing and stairs needed to merge and look like it was intended to be that way. Oh, and the carpet needed to be wool. That was a tall order. It took a lot of patience and expertise to make it look seamless. Wow, what a fabulous job! It takes my breath away.

We did a bathroom remodel. From the first appointment to the installation we were very impressed. Everyone was professional, courteous, and respectful. Unfortunately I chose the wrong color. From that point forward our impression only improved to the excellent category! Paul graciously came back the next day to help us pick out something different and we absolutely love it. He is generous beyond what was expected. I highly recommend Paul’s company.

We had a not-so-great experience that turned into a great one. When we first contacted this company, somebody came out to our house to talk us through all the options. We told them what we were looking for and they said that it would all be do-able and they gave us a quote. We accepted the offer and we were told that the quote actually was incorrect as it didnt factor in having to do the stairs as well. But since we had been quoted, they honored what their employee has told us. There were also other items that had not been explained to us that we had assumed came with the flooring replacement (this was our first time re-flooring) such as leveling and quarter round replacement. Fast forward to the installation, when the floors were installed, we were disappointed in the quality. The quarter rounds were not secure and the flooring had gapping. We decided to just bite the bullet and not let the company know our disappointment at that time. A few months later, a lot of the flooring was now coming up. This was when we contacted Paul and he came to take a look at it. He agreed it was in need of a fix, and he apologized for the workmanship. They decided to level the floor with concrete and then place new flooring down, even giving us the option to pick a new color. Along with fixing all the problems with the quarter rounds and the stairs. There was another miscommunication at this point as we were not told we had to move all the large items off the floor before installation. (We didn't have to for the first go around). But Byron and his partner graciously moved all the items for us and leveled/put in the new flooring/fixed everything on the same day. The floor is amazing now and exactly how we wanted it. I work in the automotive business and I know there are mistakes that are made on occasion, but we always find the best way to fix it. I found this company is the same way and I couldn't be happier with the results! Edit: I should add that we were told that the worker who quoted us and performed the first job no longer work at the company.

We recently had cork flooring installed in our patio through Floor Coverings International and could not be happier with how it turned out. The floors look incredible, and the whole experience from start to finish was smooth and professional.
