From Grosse Pointe and Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce events like After 6 on Kercheval and the Cheers to Chesterfield Festival to street celebrations like the Grosse Pointe Art Festival, there’s no shortage of free, family-friendly fun this season.
Hosted in the heart of Grosse Pointe Park, After 6 on Kercheval 2026 is a community celebration featuring live music, food, shopping, and activities the whole family can enjoy. No registration required! Just arrive after 6:00 PM on Kercheval! And if you love it, you’re in luck: After 6 on Kercheval returns throughout the summer with additional dates in July and August.
Returning to the Hill on Kercheval Avenue, the Grosse Pointe Art Festival is a showcase of local artists displaying and selling their original work along Kercheval Avenue. Presented by the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce, the Grosse Pointe Art Festival will have the streets lined with paintings, ceramics, crochet, drawings, and installations! The Chamber is now accepting applications from both local artists and food vendors.

Join us for a family-friendly summer event at Bradenburg Park in Chesterfield, MI. Cheers to Chesterfield is the perfect way to close out summer with one last celebration before fall arrives. Expect lakeside views, live music, food, drinks, and a cornhole tournament. Complete with a kids' zone and a fireworks show, there is something for everyone at Cheers to Chesterfield.
