Such a wonderful experience from start to finish! Sonya came to our house, brought carpet samples based on my needs (ie cat friendly carpets), and made the installation super easy. She personally came at the start and finish of installation to ensure everything was perfect and Oscar and his team worked very fast and efficiently. I am so thrilled with my new carpet and the service I received.

Sonya Sbar and her team did an amazing job with two projects for us: (1) refinishing the hardwood floors in our dining room and living room, and (2) installing new carpet on our stairs and upstairs hallway. She coordinated with our schedules to minimize disruption and got both jobs done quickly, professionally, and beautifully. All the consultations -- including picking the color of the stain and the type and color of carpet -- happened right in my house, so it was also very convenient. She ensured that everything was sequenced and coordinated across both projects. Floor refinishing: We had never refinished the floors in the 25 years we've lived in our house, and there was some serious water damage (from overwatering plants) in a few places. Fox, the lead for the project, and his team, were very professional and skilled. They worked with me to make sure the color was what we wanted (matching the original color from the undamaged areas), sanded everything down thoroughly to remove the damage and make everything even, and then applied the new stain and finish over several days so everything could dry beautifully and last. They also moved our furniture out of those rooms and back in again, and gave me detailed instructions on floor care to keep everything in good shape going forward. Carpet: The carpet going up our stairs and in our upstairs hallway was old, worn, and stained. Sonya helped us to select the type of carpet we wanted (much softer and more durable than what we had), and Oscar and his assistant did an excellent job with the carpet installation. They especially did great work in fitting the carpet between the many spindles along our stairway without showing any seams. Photos show floor refinishing before (water damaged area), during (with sanding) and after (some sun highlights, but after stain and finish), and for carpet, old worn carpet before, and new carpet after, including excellent work to avoid showing seams between staircase spindles.

I would put zero stars if I could. In the attempt to save money I asked if we could provide the materials to keep cost down, they said you have to but materials from them. I politely declined their service. THE AMOUNT OF PHONE CALLS I RECEIVED! I then asked to be put on a no call list, they then called 2 weeks later saying they had someone doing in home consultations.

Sonya and her team provided me with a beautiful, waterproof, marble textured (to be slip-proof), blue epoxy floor at a great value. From estimate through completion, Sonya educated and advised me, and in my "post-apocalyptic" anxiety (following a flood, asbestos removal) offered reassurance, professionalism, a great warranty, and ongoing support.

Floor Coverings International in Beltsville did a fantastic job on a laminate floor repair we needed done in our basement. Sonya the owner had good communication with us, and Derrick who did the install, both were so helpful in figuring out a solution to our tricky floor situation. I wanted marmoleum floors that are much better for the environment, not glossy, and with a wide selection of beautiful collars. They “click” together eliminating the need for grout and are manufactured by Forbo. I had a terrific experience with the installer. Sonya, the owner, Was patient and careful and the job was done to perfection in one day. I was thrilled.

Oh my goodness! What a transformation! Love, love, love the new floor in my soon to be office and the hallway! Sonya was amazing, responded right away and came with samples, which helped us a lot. She was patient and answered our many questions. The installers were professional, and Sonya came by later to see how it looked which is absolutely beautiful. Reasonably priced, too.
