My experience with Eric, the owner, Ramon, and the crew was unfortunately a frustrating and disappointing one. I originally hired them to install hardwood flooring in my home. After the hardwood was installed, there were obvious issues with the flooring that could not simply be overlooked or considered minor finishing details. Ultimately, the hardwood had to be removed and a different type of flooring installed instead. This significantly delayed the project and turned what should have been a relatively straightforward home improvement project into a much longer and more stressful process. Unfortunately, the problems did not end with replacing the flooring. There were additional workmanship and finishing issues that required the crew to return multiple times. I found myself having to repeatedly inspect the work, point out concerns, and wait for corrections. Some of the finishing work, including gaps, caulking, and trim/base areas, also did not initially have the clean, professional appearance I expected. I do want to be fair in saying that there are parts of the finished flooring that I am ok with, and Ramon and the crew did return to address concerns when they were brought to their attention. However, that does not erase the amount of time, inconvenience, and frustration involved in getting the project to that point. When you make a significant investment in new flooring, you expect the professionals you hire to recognize installation and workmanship problems before the homeowner has to repeatedly point them out. Having newly installed hardwood removed, needing to switch to a different flooring product, experiencing a significant delay, and then continuing to deal with finishing issues was not the experience I expected when I hired this company. While I appreciate the efforts that were eventually made to address some of my concerns, based on my overall experience, I personally would not recommend this company. There were simply too many issues, corrections, delays, and unnecessary frustrations for me to feel comfortable recommending them to someone else. I believe a professional flooring project should provide the homeowner with confidence in both the workmanship and the process, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Great company to work with, Eric was great. The rug I ordered was on back order but instead of waiting the extra week he ordered an upgraded version that arrived in days at no up charge and installed in a day. Highly recommended, I’ll be using them again!

Erick was responsive and quickly came to the house after we had water damage. He helped identify a good material, ordered it and it was deliveries within two weeks. The next day his team was here and installed it in the morning.

I had FCI replace the carpet in one of my apartments and the whole process was smooth. They showed up on time and was even able to do the installation on a Saturday which was super convenient for me and my tenant. I found their pricing to be competitive to other carpet installers. This is a no hassle, professionally led company who I would gladly use again in the future.

Erik was up front and honest about pricing and everything my flooring contract would need. The installers did a great job and made good use of time. They paid extra attention to detail and had a couple issues come up which required on the fly adjustments due to existing appliance issues and strategic fireplace issues. They handled this with excellent precision and professionalism. The work arounds look absolutely fantastic and they job came out better than I thought possible. Erik was diligent and professional as well as listened to all for my concerns. I had huge problems in the past with Empire floors and Erik did a great job addressing all of my questions and concerns. I will definitely be using this company for ALL flooring needs and the rest of my home when I need them.
