During the dry winter months I utilized a humidifier in our living room. Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was leaking onto our hardwood floors until my husband noticed the buckling that extended into our hallway. Fortunately, I reached out to Charles at Floor Coverings International, who immediately scheduled me for a time that served me best. Once in our home, it was obvious that Charles was extremely knowledgeable about the properties and life course of hardwood floors. He put our minds at ease and encouraged us to give it time, as often buckling from water damage will self correct and lay down again and straighten on its own. No need to rip out the boards we thought were permanently damaged and try to replace. Just had hardwood floors installed in my family room. They did a great job matching existing hardwood floors. Communication was great throughout the process, installation was smooth and I’m very pleased with the quality of work. they cleaned up throughly and I had an overall excellent experience. Ive consulted on flooring nightmares with Charles St. Clair many times and he always explains the solutions in such a palpable way it immediately alleviates the stress.
