"We recently contacted Floor Coverings International in Redmond, WA to get a quote for carpeting our stairs and one bedroom. Nick V. came to our house and brought a variety of flooring samples and a strong expertise and creative thoughts for our flooring needs. We are DIYing new laminate flooring over our older hardwood. After our free consultation that held many good suggestions, Nick took a few of our laminate boards with him and using those boards his company created two beautiful new bullnose pieces for the top of our stairs. We were very impressed and happy. I had no idea that could even be done. We also weren’t sure how to go about matching some original trim pieces on our landing without having the expense and waste of removing and replacing what was there. Nick had a solution for that also. He suggested, and his team was able to, sand and stain our original hardwood on the landing so it would look new and match the carpet that was placed on the stairs. They did the mixing of the stain right in their own office using our flooring choice. Every person who came to our house, from the initial consultation to the sanding and staining of our existing hardwood trim, to the placement of the new bullnose, and the carpet installation, have been polite, professional, and very good at what they do. I have enjoyed interacting with all of them. Their follow-up has been very good as well. From phone calls with the owner, Anthony, calls, texts and in-person meetings with Nick and Manny, and emails with MaryAnn. We have had a very good experience working with Floor Coverings International of Redmond."
