Communicating with Michael was so easy and efficient. When we asked to add more to the project, he got the order in no problem. He was very helpful at helping us pick out the best carpet for the house. The workers took great care of the house as they were applying the carpet. We truly enjoyed working with Michael and will definitely be using this company for future projects!

Tried 3 times to get our wood floor refinished and could not produce a finish that was acceptable. The finish had several flaws all over over our solid wood floor. 1st the sa ding job was that of an amateur. We pointed out that there were noticable swirls left on the wood that the stain picked up. He also skipped sanding much of the inside of our doorways which made the left and right side of the threshold noticably higher than the center. When we pointed this out he said he would have had to do this correction by hand and didn’t bother to fix it before putting down the water-based high traffic finish which left long white lap marks on our floor. After it dried thoroughly, he then tried to fix it by buffing it andvreapplying the finish, but when it dried we now had an orange peel look all over the floor. After several days of this drying, he buffed it again and reapplied the finish only to leave spider-web looking areas in our floor. We called a reputable floor finish distributor and they told us that each of these flaws in the floorvwas due to how it was being applied. In the end we received a full refund, but to fix the floor we have to have it sanded down to the bare wood again and start over. The man who lives was doing the work was quite rude and the owner of this company did not seem to be fazed by the constant reapplications. I would NOT recommend this company at all. The work was done on a long main floor hallway. If it had been a large room it would be more of a disaster! Keep looking ....

I am very pleased with my floor and everyone was very professional. I have never done any updating before but matt and his team made it very pleasant and painless. They were respectful that I had my Granddaughter on the days of my floor resurfacing and made sure to use proper equipment to keep anything airborne contained. They were on time and did an excellent job. I would use them again. My floor looks like new. They were also able to smooth over some damaged areas on the hardwood.

We recently purchased carpet from Floor Coverings International (Plainfield, IL) for the first time. Our salesperson Micheal was great to deal with. He was very helpful and patient in the carpet selection and quoting process. Matt and Karen were great to deal with as well, and we were very happy with the installers. They were very careful to protect our home and furniture. We would highly recommend using FCI.

Floor Coverings International came in and saved the day for me. We had hired someone that really messed ip our new flooring. I called in a panic and within a few hours we had a time for Matt to come and let me know what they could do to help us out. Juan was confident in what he could do and we were able to get a really bad situation remedied quickly. They really did an amazing job! I have since shared their number with my neighbor and my dad because I wouldn’t trust anyone else at this point.
