Floor Coverings International did a beautiful job of staining my hardwood floors. I chose the ‘Chestnut’ stain. Luis and Luis taped up thick plastic and zipped it, to restrict debris from other areas of my home. They were always on time, courteous, and professional. They moved my large furniture around, without any damage, and were very helpful to me. Owners Norma and Mike were very nice and caring to me. Great job!

I was very pleased with the professionalism, patience and quick responses from Kirke and Norma in answering my questions. I was concerned about the extremely hot and humid weather and walking up and down three flights of stairs that the workmen would need to do, but they did it with good attitudes and got the job done well and on time. I had the prefinished, micro-edge hardwood floors installed with solid underlayment and they delivered quality work. They also did a great job of cleaning up after themselves which I very, very much appreciated. Thank you for my beautiful floors!

We are very satisfied with the services Mike and Norma provided. Whenever complications arose, they went out of their way to make it right. When there was a misunderstanding on the scheduling of the initial consultation, Mike rearranged his calendar and drove right over to our place as soon as he heard about the glitch. When he arrived for the consult, he knew the right questions to ask during our initial meeting and he assembled a detailed workplan. When the crew was running late, we were notified in advance and they showed up shortly afterward. When the crew was unclear about the details that Mike discussed with me, Norma jumped in and brought them up to speed. When the work was done, we didn't like the finish and Norma sent them back to redo it. Compared to other contractors, Mike and Norma are superior in their availability and in their responsiveness to my concerns. Let me be clear: I provided the above details not as a complaint. I don't expect an absence of issues. I expect a dialog about the inevitable issues that arise. Other contractors ghost me when I have questions and concerns, but not Mike and Norma. I got exactly what I wanted in my interactions with them. When I researched typical costs of similar projects, the plan Mike provided came right in the middle of the range I expected. When the job was done, they came in on budget with no surprise charges in the final invoice. At the end of the project, we loved the refinishing job they did. They installed a very tricky curved joint between wood and tiled surfaces. When my wife saw what they did, she described their work as "miraculous." We give them our highest recommendation.

FCI put wood flooring in our Second floor and a set of stairs that had carpeting that needed to go. They were great throughout the process, explaining our options with an eye toward our budget and our desire for environmentally responsible options. The work quality was great and they were highly communicative throughout the process. We’re very satisfied.

Floor Coverings International recently refinished our 25 year old oak hardwood floors. They did a great job improving their appearance with a renewed color and finish. Luis and Luis corrected damage by removing stains and scratches and filling gaps between boards to give a seamless look. I appreciated their expertise mixing sample stain color choices to complement our existing trim and cabinets. Mike and Norma are a dedicated team who are knowledgeable, helpful, and always available. Their quality of service was outstanding, and I would highly recommend FCI to anyone with flooring needs.
