We had an outstanding experience with Floor Coverings International of Oakbrook, IL. They came through on short notice and delivered nothing short of amazing service. Despite facing several unexpected issues, their technician Manny went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. His professionalism, dedication, and willingness to help made all the difference. A huge thank you to Norma as well—her exceptional communication and coordination from start to finish ensured everything ran smoothly. She was always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. We wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone in need of quality flooring products and top-notch customer service. Floor Coverings International Lombard completed their second job at our home this week. They refinished flooring after repairing cracking that was extensive. Luis and Luis were our professionals. They removed damaged wood and feathered in new. Then they refinished flooring in the room and it is seamless. Excellent job, we appreciate working with Mike and Norma, and look forward to calling them again.

We had Floor Coverings International install manufactured hardwood in two bedrooms a couple years ago and were very pleased. So, when we needed to replace carpet on our stairs they were our first call. We ultimately decided to refinish the hardwood stairs and landing before putting the carpet down and that is where the trouble came in. One refinishing crew was at our house three times and another crew came out two more times and it STILL isn't right. There are spots and raised dots in several places. We were told this must be due to drafts in our house blowing things onto the finish as it dries. This seems like something that should have been mitigated by their crew from the beginning and yet apparently never totally was. We finally got tired of the inconveniences and gave up and so did Mike and Norma. They came back for a final look and essentially said it was the best they could do. Then sent us the bill. The worst part is that the landing was actually beautiful before they started - I just wanted it a darker color to match the new hardwood in the bedrooms. I feel like I ruined a perfectly good floor. The carpet install was great - that guy really knew his stuff. So I guess they are good if you want new flooring installed, but I would go elsewhere for refinishing. They strive to provide top-notch customer service and I do think they genuinely tried. They just couldn't deliver.

If you are looking to update the floors in your home you need to talk to Sharon and Kirke! They are very knowledgeable and helpful. We converted are entire house from carpeting to hardwood and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Very satisfied with this professional company.

Hard workers. Attention to detail. Problem solvers. The project happened in a very timely manner. The installers were professional and friendly. They are great at what they do and are skilled. Absolutely love the product that was installed. The engineered Stone is just amazing and has really transformed my home. Looks like I have a whole new place. Paul and Sharon were invaluable. Sharon really took the time to help me chose the color that best suits my taste. The owners Kirke and Meg are friendly and approachable. They go above and beyond. They really want to make sure you’re satisfied. I highly recommend working with Floor Covering International.

Kirke and team did a terrific job. I am so happy with my new carpeting. They are the people to call if you need carpeting. They are the best. I know, I have carpeted many places. Do not waste you time with big box stores. Call Floor Covering International in Oak Park.

Working with Kirke and his team at Floor Coverings International with my flooring updates was an amazing experience. They have quality products with a good price range and their level of customer service is above reproach. After they installed hardwood flooring, I was so pleased with the results that I also had them replace carpeting in the bedrooms. And again, I could not be happier with the results.
