Floor Coverings International of Northbrook delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish, and we could not be more thrilled with the results! From the very beginning, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The design selection process was thorough and personalized, making it easy for us to find the perfect carpet for our main floor. We ultimately chose a beautiful, moisture-resistant, pet-friendly carpet that was exactly what we needed. Because our original carpet had experienced years of pet-related damage, this project required more than simply installing new flooring. The FCI team went above and beyond by sealing the plywood subfloor to help eliminate any residual odors and provide us with a fresh, clean foundation for our new carpet. We truly appreciated their attention to detail and commitment to doing the job the right way. Communication throughout the entire project was outstanding. We always knew what to expect, and every member of the team was responsive, courteous, and professional. The installation crew was especially impressive. They were friendly, respectful, meticulous, and extremely careful while moving our baby grand piano and heavy heirloom furniture. Their care and professionalism gave us complete confidence that our home and belongings were in excellent hands. Larry came out to look at the back porch floor and steps, which were in very poor condition. From the moment he assessed the work, he was completely on board and confident about what needed to be done. He even took the extra step of researching which materials would perform best in a non temperature controlled back porch, and that level of care and knowledge really clinched it for me. After his visit, I didn’t even feel the need to call other contractors — his professionalism and clarity made the decision easy. The workers assigned to do the job did an awesome job as well: on time, clean, very professional, and clearly experienced. They knew exactly what they were doing, and the work was completed with skill and attention to detail. We love our back porch now! I recommend to anyone this company and ask for Larry.

I had the easiest experience with the whole FCI team, from Larry bringing out the samples, to his wife making sure the installation was as seemless as possible. The carpet is beautiful and I would recommend them 1000 times over.

They were an awesome company to work with! The owners Larry and Hannah walked me thru the entire process. Brought samples to my home and explained in detailed the differences in the floor coverings. Great communication from day till installation. Love my floors and get tons of compliments!! If you are thinking of purchasing new flooring I highly recommend them!!!
