Thomas Peterson
A Chicagoland native, Thomas D. Peterson became obsessed with flooring and design when he moved to Chicago in 2020, and brings an unparalleled understanding of the Chicago market and their needs. He graduated top of his class as valedictorian, is a member of MENSA, and graduated from University of Pennsylvania. He is not only a published scientific author, but traveled to over 35 countries as a leadership coach. He played trumpet semi-professionally for over a decade, was an analytics manager for two Fortune 200 companies, and taught investing courses in the stock market and real estate. Thomas is excited about the new technological developments in floors in the last few years, including stain & scratch resistance as well as heated floors! Thomas will run In-Home Consultations for specialized projects. Thomas will be helping bring your design vision to life by coordinating with our expert and artisan flooring installation teams.
Kristopher D. Peterson
Kristopher D. Peterson is your first contact with FCI Downtown Chicago. He brings a gritty business sense and street-smarts sharpness to the team with his keen eye for detail and business acuity. He graduated with a degree in Business Management from Western Illinois University. His background is in logistics where he was CFO for a small logistics company in the Greater Chicagoland area. He is a former 7-time tournament IHSA Wrestling Champion, an amateur body builder, and in his free time, he is a profitable Equities Daytrader, gardener, and is a licensed Private Pilot for single-engine land planes. Kristopher recalls the comfort of the soft saxony carpet in his grandmother’s house while growing up, and absolutely loves how soft our current carpet selection is. Kristopher will be in charge of scheduling your appointments and solving for your finances if you decide to take advantage of our same-as-cash payments.
Anthony J. Peterson
Anthony J. Peterson is your second contact with FCI Downtown Chicago. He is a beaming ray of positivity, bringing light-heartedness, good vibes, and an eye for interior design to the team. Anthony went directly into sales after graduating from high school. His background is in rooftop solar, where he was a Top 3 sales rep for regional sales for 14 consecutive months at 19 years of age. He was a former traveling hockey player for 8 years, he is a Skill Level 7 (out of 7) ranked pro with American Poolplayers Association, and an aerial photographer / videographer. With a keen eye for interior design, his favorite type of flooring is a wide-format red oak with a coffee or mahogany stain, and Princeton baseboards to match. Anthony will be helping take your personal preferences, and turning them into seasoned design choices with our Mobile Flooring Showroom®.
