We had a flood in the basement and needed to fix the carpet and baseboards fast. They were SPEEDY and their attention to detail was great. Plus getting a quote was easy and the communication was fantastic. Dealing with flooding is SO stressful, and it was a relief to find a company that made everything so easy when I was freaking out!! 10/10!

Brian is great to work with. He's a straight up guy and his team is super friendly. They installed our flooring and stair runner quickly and efficiently. It looks beautiful and we absolutely love our floors. We show them off to everyone who comes by. I highly recommend Floor Coverings International and would work with Brian and team again any time.

I had a great experience with FCI! I have an apartment in a large high rise building that I was remodeling for my parents to move into. The building is extremely strict and has a lot of requirements and rules for what types of flooring can be installed, as well as elevator usage for contractors, etc. Chuck, the contractor from FCI, went out of his way to work with the building to keep everything in line with their requirements. His patience throughout the process was impressive! Also, prior to hiring FCI, it was discovered by a previous contractor after pulling up the carpet, that the floor was extremely unlevel, (a 2 1/2 difference in height from the center of the room to the corner!) That other company said it was beyond their capabilities to install hardwood, vinyl, or tile flooring on such an uneven floor. They said they could only install more carpet, or I was going to have to find another company to work with. With my heart set on removing the carpet, I hired FCI after discovering this problem with the floor. FCI not only was able to flatten out the floor, but the owner, Brian, also suggested flooring choices that would work best with the building's requirements and would actually be less expensive than my original choice. He actually helped me save money on my project and stay under my budget! They installed a luxury vinyl plank floor that has the look of hardwood in the bedroom and living room. For the bathroom they installed a ceramic tile that looks like an elegant white marble. Everything turned out beautifully, I could not be happier with the result! Also, a big thank you to Chuck who went above and beyond to address any and all concerns I had throughout the project. Any issues that came up he would immediately work to resolve them as quickly as possible. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. Thank you for everything, Chuck and Brian! You made a beautiful home for my parents.

I had an excellent experience working with Brian P. and his team. Brian was transparent throughout the sales process, never pushy, and provided clear guidance on flooring options and pricing. The cost was reasonable, and his project manager, Charles G., was equally professional. The installation team arrived on time, completed the work within a couple of days, and kept me informed at every stage. They also coordinated smoothly with Building Management to ensure all paperwork was handled properly. Overall, outstanding service from start to finish.

We are very happy with our new flooring! Brian and Chuck were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. We had the tile in our kitchen removed and they were able to feather in new wood flooring to flow seamlessly into the rest of our wood floors. The color matches perfectly. They also did some repair work in the hallway. Would highly recommend.

FCI did a great job. We needed to install new carpeting on our stairs, and the walls had recently been repainted. So, we wanted a different style of carpeting. They came out with a number of samples, and offered suggestions. We settled on one of the samples, received a quote and soon after they scheduled the delivery. Their guy came on time, worked quickly, didn't leave a mess and the carpet looks really nice.

We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International from start to finish. The personal consultation with the owner, Brian made the process easy and stress free. He took the time to answer our questions, explain our options and help us find the right runner for the stairs in our duplex condo. The installation went smoothly and the crew was professional and the finished product looks fantastic. We’re very happy with the quality of the work and how everything turned out. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable experience, and we would absolutely work with them again in the future. Highly recommend!

The flooring that we chose for my studio and bedroom were installed beautifully. We are very happy with the quality, and the installers were very professional and did a wonderful job with installation. The whole staff were friendly and even after installation came to check up and make sure everything was done correctly.

Probably the biggest mistake we made about this flooring was to postpone it as long as we did. We have this very large Victorian in Lincoln Park that we started to restore from scratch FIFTY years ago and when it came to the second floor flooring we thought "No more! Too tired! No one will see it." But the second floor had seriously ugly and very squeaky porch flooring and FCI gave an unbeatable proposal and truly Frad Astaire and Ginger Rogers could glide across it. Whatever magic they did, the floor is totally silent, smooth, gloriously beautiful. Expensive? Not really. The floor will be a focal point to sell the place (unless some idiot opts to tear it down)
