100 out of 5 stars! We cannot say enough good things about Floor Covering International of Champaign, IL! Calvin was incredible! He is very down-to-earth, considerate, understanding, and genuinely committed to helping us bring our flooring vision to life within our budget! This started as a “simple project” which quickly turned into what felt like the project that kept on giving as our older home was full of surprises and unexpected obstacles; structure-wise, our flooring was in rough shape and sagging. Thankfully, Calvin and the entire Flooring Covering International team went above and beyond to deliver a beautiful, sturdy, and long-lasting solution that’s not only eye-catching but also safe! Furthermore, we found that our house is slightly crooked, so after the floor installation, we realized our front closet door wouldn’t close properly. Calvin personally came out to assess the issue and fixed it right away! That kind of dedication and customer care is so rare these days. The final result is absolutely STUNNING! I adore the color, the craftsmanship, and how smooth the whole process ended up being. The team was professional, respectful, and extremely fast; they made this tough job look easy! After having less-than-great experiences with other contractors in the past, we were hesitant to bring in help again, but we are so happy we did with this company! If we could give 100+ stars out of 5, we would in a heartbeat! The before-and-after transformation truly speaks for itself (see pictures). So, if you are considering any flooring project, we HIGHLY recommend Floor Covering International!!! You will not be disappointed. We’ll absolutely be coming back to them for any future flooring needs! Thank you Calvin for making this a GREAT experience!

This was our first experience with FCI of Champaign, and we couldn't be more pleased! Calvin came to our home with samples and had our flooring choice ready to be installed in just a few weeks. The installers were so polite and knowledgeable and did a fantastic job as well. Our kitchen and bathrooms look so bright and beautiful now! I'd give 6 STARS if I could!

I would highly recommend FCI. They were professional, arrived on time and completed work when they said they would. Can I give 10 stars?!!! How wonderful it is to call a company and have a real owner answer. Calvin scheduled a home visit to talk to us about our project. He had plenty of samples for us to chose from and matched our existing hardwood floors. He was able to provide us a written quote on the spot. Materials were delivered quickly and our complete flooring was done in one day. Afterwards Calvin returned to inspect the work done. He also was able to hang some closet doors for us while at our home. Sheila and I highly recommend FCI OF CHAMPAIGN for all your flooring needs. They are a fantastic company!

When the floor in my bathroom fell through I was not sure who to call. After some research I found Floor Coverings International of Champaign. I spoke with Calvin and he was so helpful. My bathroom needed more work than expected so the plan had to change. Calvin was so helpful, he got a different crew to fix everything and came and made sure everything was done correctly. I have more floors that I will be having done and plan on using them again. Thank you so much. I appreciate everything they did for me.

The FCI team did a great job assessing my needs. They tore out the old tile job in the kitchen, replaced it with high quality Coretec floors, and cut around the cabinet bases making for a smooth update. Cleaned up well and were polite/respectful throughout. Quick turnaround from initial quote to finish in less than a month; actual installation took 3 days and they were willing to postpone after a death in the family.

We recently had a room in our home carpeted, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They helped us choose the perfect carpet for our space, keeping both comfort and style in mind. The installation was seamless—done quickly, carefully, and with great attention to detail. The installer respected our home, cleaned up thoroughly, and left everything looking beautiful. The owner also came by the next day to check the installation and to give us tips on caring for our new carpet. The new carpet completely transformed the room, making it warm, cozy, and inviting. We couldn’t be happier with the service and the result. Highly recommend!
