With more than 25 years of experience in public affairs, communications, and community relations, across private and public sectors including corporate, franchising, and nonprofits, Eric decided to embrace his entrepreneurial spirit. His passion for home remodeling and customer service led him to join the Floor Coverings International franchise team as an owner of an Atlanta-area franchise location in November 2024.

Originally from Central Texas, Eric attended Baylor University, where he met his wife, Ali. They made Alpharetta their home in 2011, along with their three children and a number of pets including a dog, several cats, chickens, and a duck—affectionately referred to as the "Abercrombie Family Farm."

When not at home, you'll likely find Eric and Ali enthusiastically supporting their children at soccer games, cheering from the stands at baseball matches, or enjoying school musicals. They also cherish their time together as a family attending North Point Community Church.

Owner Greg Costello has spent the past 25+ years in residential in-home building products. He listens carefully and asks the right questions in order to understand your needs and vision. This ensures you get the results you are looking for.

Michael is the owner of Floor Coverings International of West Atlanta, which he opened in 2023.  He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and received his MBA from Georgia Tech, Scheller College of Business. Michael spent over a decade working in the corporate world prior to opening his Floor Coverings International location. He is passionate about providing top-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Michael was born and raised in Atlanta and is an avid fan of all the city’s sports teams. His hobbies include golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three young children.

Carly has a varied professional career spanning three decades including mystery shopping, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Cybersecurity industry, having completed her MS in the field from Georgia Tech in December of 2022. A Business and Computer Science graduate of Oglethorpe University with an MBA, she grew up working in her family’s tax and accounting business and has a deep passion for corporate social responsibility and giving back to the community. A high school multi-sport varsity athlete and valedictorian, Carly played basketball in college and still dabbles in rugby, Gaelic football, and Australian rules football in her free time. Her teamwork and attention to detail ensures this team delivers for its customers.

Miguel discovered his passion for cooking at the side of his grandmother over three decades ago in a little parish in Jamaica called Trelawny. Beginning with award-winning sauces, marinades, and rubs – he now creates wholesome, chef-inspired meals for all types of occasions in his spare time. Before emigrating to the United States in 1999 and starting his own business, he was head chef at Jamrock Sports Bar & Grill – an internationally known hot-spot in Kingston. A graduate of the Culinary Arts with further education in Political Science; Miguel has extensive experience hosting cooking demonstrations and opening new stores for Fortune 100 companies. His creativity doesn’t end in the kitchen as he has extensive experience in home repair and remodeling as partner in a rental real estate business with his other half Carly. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing soccer. His care and passion for serving dishes with love will be evident to our customers as he consults with them to ensure they can find the floor of their dreams.

Kathy is a born and bred Midwesterner from a small town in Missouri, the ‘Show Me’ state. She started her business career early working in her family’s hardware store and continues to work in the field of accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes for individuals and small businesses. While in the Navy, she served as a Disbursing Clerk and lived in Johnson City, TN. She has now relocated to Georgia to be near her only daughter, Carly, and partner with her by lending her accounting expertise and her famous baked goods (cookies, banana bread, etc.) to the franchise.

Jennie is the owner of Floor Coverings International Northeast Atlanta branch. The branch has been opened since 2017 but she took ownership in 2021. She upholds the highest standards when it comes to customer service, product quality and installation and takes pride in the 5-star ratings that she receives from her loyal customers. She has a background in brand strategy, menu strategy and innovation and has assumed most of her career in corporate marketing. She loves to lead and build high-performing teams. She brings a sense of design and style into every appointment to help beautify customer’s homes with new flooring. Her passion, dedication in striving to be the best flooring company in her local communities is showcased on a daily basis. She enjoys spending time with her 10 year old daughter, checking out new restaurants and loves keeping up with the latest fashion trends!

Kim is the local owner of Floor Coverings International of Brookhaven and lives in the Buford Highway area with his wife and child. Before starting his local business, Kim helped people and teams achieve high performance at The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, BellSouth, and other Atlanta area employers

As a resident of DeKalb County, GA, since 1987, Kim has invested in his community as much as his business. Through his "Floors That Build Futures" campaign, Kim directs a portion of proceeds from every flooring project delivered by his business to support local high school seniors bound for the skilled trades. He believes investing in the area's youth makes his business and his community stronger. He also believes everyone deserves 5-star experiences for their flooring projects.

Hi, I'm Cindy Krampetz, the proud owner of Floor Coverings International of Lost Mountain. I grew up in Cobb County, graduating from Harrison High School with honors while balancing church, cheerleading, gymnastics, competitive dance, and part-time jobs that showcased my work ethic early on. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I served as an executive member of the AXO sorority. 

With over 20 years of experience in real estate and sales leadership, I’ve built my career on driving growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Starting my own flooring company was an opportunity to combine my passion for design with my commitment to helping families create beautiful spaces in their homes.

Outside of work, Garner enjoys playing piano, singing, and spending time outdoors. As proud parents of a daughter and a son, Garner and Philip are dedicated to creating beautiful homes for their clients while helping build a stronger, more hopeful community.

With 20 years of experience as an engineer in the construction industry and sales, Philip Elliott brings expertise and a personal touch to every project at Floor Coverings International South Gwinnett. He’s passionate about helping customers create homes they truly love, with a bigger vision of using that success to launch a nonprofit dedicated to breaking cycles of poverty and violence.

Philip has called Georgia home for five years and runs the business with his wife and co-owner, Garner. Outside of work, Philip enjoys officiating high school basketball and cheering on his South Carolina Gamecocks. Proud parents of a daughter and a son, Philip and Garner remain committed to creating beautiful homes for their clients while building a brighter future for their community.

Julia Bringle is the Operations Manager at Floor Coverings Intl South Gwinnett. Julia has a background in real estate and a knack for leading each project through seamless delivery. Julia is passionate about traveling, sports, and family.

Michael McChesney is the proud owner and operator of Floor Coverings International of Northwest Atlanta, where he combines a passion for design, craftsmanship, and customer service to help homeowners bring their flooring visions to life. A graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA, Michael’s career has taken him from the classroom as a high school history teacher to managing large-scale commercial construction projects. Outside of work, Michael loves traveling the world with his wife, Maria, exploring new cultures and landscapes. When at home in Georgia, you can often find him hiking local trails, trout fishing, or playing hockey. Michael brings the same energy and dedication to every flooring project that he does to his favorite pastimes.

James Smith, our Chief Revenue Officer is a flooring specialist serving homeowners throughout the southwest Atlanta areas. With a background in home renovation and years of experience working directly with customers, he is passionate about helping people transform their homes with the right flooring solutions. James focuses on making the process simple, transparent, and stress-free while delivering high-quality results that homeowners can be proud of.

When he’s not helping clients design their perfect floors, James enjoys backpacking, hiking, and spending as much time as possible outdoors exploring nature.

His background in operations, organization, and problem-solving helps ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish. Earl’s attention to detail and strong work ethic play a key role in keeping schedules on track and making sure materials and installations are handled properly.

Outside of work, Earl enjoys sports of all kinds and is a longtime fan of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Whether watching a game or spending time with family, he’s always cheering on his favorite teams

Laura Smith serves as Chief Financial Officer, helping keep the company organized and financially strong behind the scenes. She oversees financial planning, budgeting, and day-to-day operations to ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting the team in delivering excellent service to customers.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, Penny and Sheldon. She also loves staying active with workouts and has a passion for home décor and gardening, always finding inspiration in creating beautiful and welcoming spaces.
