I’m so glad that we went with FCI to install carpet in our kids playroom and a small office. Eric A. was able to meet our short install window as we wanted the carpet in place before moving into the home. The communication with Eric throughout the project was terrific and his team did an outstanding job with the install. This was the second time using FCI and we will be sure to use them again for any future flooring projects.

We had water damage in our basement and needed new floors. Eric and his team did a great job with helping us get new flooring and install in a timely manner. The installers Eduardo and Miguel are very hardworking and paid attention to details. It was a pleasure to work with the team.

All of the associates I worked with in re-carpeting my home were nice professional and polite. My one desire in getting new carpet that I stressed over and over that I wanted was extra thick padding for a soft cushion feel as I walk on it verses the old standard grade padding that was installed with the old carpet previously. John came to my home and was there for well over an hour and a half...way too long of a process. I kept telling him I wanted the thick padding. He told me the thickest padding they had would feel too soft and he assured me I would be happier with the next thickness down from the thickest they offered in padding. He had no samples with him to show me the padding and kept telling me to trust him. I should have stood my ground in getting what I wanted and not being talked down into choosing what he thought I needed. John assured me the carpet I chose was better quality than the basic builders grade carpet....which I did not want. My son and I chose the color of the carpet and he had me sign the agreement without seeing what I was signing. Apparently, his iPad wasn't working to show me the agreement yet he had been using it the entire appointment to enter measurements and calculate cost for me. It made me a little uneasy signing an agreement I wasn't even seeing and I told him. It took almost a week of going back and forth with multiple employees there for someone to finally email me a copy of my signed agreement (they kept sending me a copy of the deposit I made and not the agreement and order description with details). When they finally sent me a copy of the agreement, there were no charges visible such as labor charge, how much the carpet cost per square feet, padding info and cost ....nothing but description of the ordered carpet and color name and name of the padding along with the total cost and the deposit (half of the total cost) that I had already paid. The over all quote/cost was way higher than any other quotes from different carpet places I had previously shopped, but John assured me that their company quality, guarantee, warranty, and "white glove service" is why they are a bit more expensive than other competitors. With that being said, the carpet was delivered and installed. I looked at the padding that Alex showed me in the back of the van before they even began the installation and didn't feel it looked any thicker than what I had under my current carpet and told him so as well as the installer. Both Alex and the carpet installers assured me that their padding was thicker than my current padding and it would be very soft and cushioning to walk on. Nope. The carpet is new carpet, so it definitely looks better than the old carpet, but it literally looks identical to my old carpet other than a different color. As far as the padding goes, extremely disappointed as I knew it was not thick like I told everyone I wanted. It is hard when I walk on it...nothing soft and cushioning like I wanted. My family and friends have all agreed and said the same thing. It looked and felt exactly the way my previous carpet looked and felt when I walked on it. Disappointed for the amount of money I was charged and didn't get the he one main thing I wanted...thick, comfortable and cushioned padding under my carpet. Advice: The employees were all very cordial and personable. No complaints there with all employees involved. They were exactly on time each visit and all extremely professional.. I think when making a large purchase such as carpet for your home....go directly in the store and take your time, pick out what you want...see all of the selections...not just a few swatches they bring to your home to choose from. Look at the padding in the store and stand on it, like I did in previous stores. Do not let a sales rep sell you carpet in your home....go inside the store's showroom directly. Shop around multiple places and take your time before making a decision. The extra $ you are paying is for that sales rep's time and visit to your home. The overall installation process was great. The men were professional and were very careful in moving my furniture. The installers did a great job. Just disappointed in the feel of the new carpet due to the thinner padding I was talked into. Always get what you want, especially when you will have it for years.

FCI of Alpharetta installed my flooring (mostly Luxury Vinyl Tile) about 8 years ago. 8 years later, had a minor problem occur. Contacted them and the owner Eric promptly came over, assessed the situation and offered low to no cost options. He undertook the repair, came back 2 more times to be sure it worked (it did) and got the job done, ultimately at no charge whatsoever to me. So refreshing to see a company stand by their work so many years later and without hesitation. The first time (install 8 years ago) and this one, FCI was a pleasure to work with and handled the flooring job professionally, timely, and cost-effectively. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
