From startt to finish Floor Coverings International of Sarasota provided outstanding services. Without the need to provide a financial commitment, Dustin, one of their representatives, came to my home and helped me select a carpet for my bedroon and closet. It was well installed at the time promised.When comparing the charges with other floor covering facilities in the area, I found their charges to be very reasonable. Based upon my singular experience, I highly recommend the services of Floor Coverings Interanternational of Sarasota.

We are thrilled with the service we received from Floor Coverings International of Sarasota. We had 3 different companies come out to discuss the work and provide a quote. All 3 prices ended up being close in range, but one company mentioned that we would need to arrange to pick up the hardwood, buy the glue, etc. Another started their quote at about 3 times what it should have been, and we felt like they were waiting to see how much we were willing to pay, rather than telling us what the cost of the job would be. After we failed to bite at their high price, they continued to lower it until somehow they ended up where they should have started. I don't blame the rep - this is probably what the company trains him to do, but the technique felt too much like a car salesman's. With Floor Coverings International, there were no hidden costs. The price included every supply and hour of work necessary to complete the project. Our project consisted of removing tile (jackhammer!) from the entry and the office, and removing carpet from the living room, hall, and 3 bedrooms, and replacing with hardwoods. During the demolition, the crew put up plastic barriers to help confine the dust in the work area as much as possible. When demo was complete, they did a good job cleaning up before prepping the subfloors for installation. Some leveling was required, and there was at no additional cost for this. They did a beautiful job and we are very pleased with the outcome. From the initial visit with Dustin, who measured, showed samples offered suggestions, and quoted the job right up front, to Allison and Frank at the warehouse/office, to Victor and his entire team of installers, every person was professional, hardworking, courteous, and showed great attention to detail throughout the entire project. I highly recommend Floor Coverings International of Sarasota!!!

Steve, Allison, and Frank have all been absolutely wonderful — incredibly nice, helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. Renovations can be stressful, and having people who are patient, accommodating, and genuinely care about their customers makes such a difference. Had a great experience with Floor Coverings. They had some early challenges with the scope of work, where they took out more carpet than we expected. They fixed the issue in a very positive way that was great. Their communication style was friendly and helpful. Their prices were competitive for what we wanted. Working with Steve and Allison at Floor Coverings International was a fantastic experience. They were both so helpful in finding the color flooring I wanted. There were so many to choose from and it took me quite a while to find the right color. They had samples sent to me from distributors if they didn’t have that sample onsite. They were so patient to give me time to “live” with the sample to see it in various lighting situations. I had 3 bedrooms done and it was accomplished in a day. I had moved smaller pieces of furniture to prepare for the installation but the installers moved the larger items for me. I couldn’t be more pleased. Great experience.

Steve and his entire team were absolutely amazing. They communicated daily as needed, helped manage a large project for me with literally zero issues. The Project Manager was extremely professional and kept everything progressing to hit a tight target schedule. Our house now looks beautiful and we can't thank them enough. They are highly recommended!

We would like to thank and commend Floor Coverings International for an outstanding job in all respects. They removed old carpet from a large bedroom, hall, and two walk-in closets and replaced it with new vinyl, wood plank flooring. The selection of materials, along with detailed information, and trim options was quite extensive and well presented by owner, Steve Tadd. The actual installation was done as promised by a crew that was both expert and meticulous. We appreciated the company follow-up with warranty information and care suggestions. The floor has received many positive comments from friends and visitors. Yes, we will gladly use this locally owned flooring company for ant future flooring projects.
