Would recommend Floor Covering International of Aurora 100% to any person doing flooring project. We first met Robin in our home to do our floor inspection, discuss our needs and desires, and to find a professional to help with our flooring project. Robin was very efficient, explained every scenario, what would be best, what should be done, what would be most cost effective, etc. We had intention of having a second flooring company give an estimate. She even encouraged it! However, we knew immediately, that she and her team would be the ones to do our flooring project. Our connection with her was so organic and true. She spent ample time with us and didn't rush through anything. She showed us plenty of samples in the comfort of our own home, and didn't try to persuade us with price. She went based on our wants and needs and was honest about each options pros/cons. Upon completion of our project review, she shared plans with her partner Justin who would oversee the project. Justin had some minor thoughts/changes to address, for example some steps that would be included in the redo, and gave his expert opinion on what would turn out to be a better option. They were able to accommodate our requested dates. Once project day arrived, we were so excited and couldn't wait to begin. Then the crew arrived. Justin arrived first to do the walkthrough and finalize/confirm all that was going to be done. We had an immediate connection with him as well! What a great team you two are!! Then the two service members of the team who would be doing the work arrived, Diego and G! Extremely professional, some of the hardest workers we have ever seen, purposeful with protecting items in our home, and again, extremely efficient work. I would trust them in my home again and again. Now, to brag about the work. Just wow! It feels like we are in a completely new home! The floors are perfect, they even went into detail about which direction we wanted the wood to face. They moved the furniture for us, helped us relocate furniture upon completion, came back to check on work to make sure we were satisfied and everything was as it should be. They cleaned up after their work, instructed us on upkeep and maintenance of the floor. Robin had an in house check in a week after work to see the completed project! I wish I could have recorded her reaction! Our whole experience with this entire team has been phenomenal, and one that we will never forget. Every person we encountered became a friend to us and they treated us and our home with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend for any and all flooring needs! Thank you guys so much!!! We still feel like we have so much more to say! You did a fantastic job and we are extremely grateful! Just thank you so much! Are you in the market/hunt for new flooring? Upon meeting the co-owner Robin for our initial meeting and estimate, and spending a great deal of time discussing our flooring project in detail, we immediately chose her and Flooring Coverings International of Aurora for our project. She showed us multiple flooring samples at the comfort of our dining room table and gave us plenty of options to choose from. She did not even try to “push” the highest priced laminate, and we chose the next level down because it met our desires (and budget!) exactly. When she left, we had a quote in hand, and honestly felt like we had a new friend! And that was just the “estimate” portion of the job. Two weeks later, on a date that we asked for and which she made schedule accommodations to meet, the real experience began: Justin, co-owner and project manager arrived exactly on time, and reviewed the entire process of the project with us prior to his AMAZING crew joined for demo and install. Day One: Geraldo (“G”) worked tirelessly with the tile demo, carpet removal, and prep for install. He was impressive with his work and pace! When he left, the entire level was clean and ready for install. Day Two: Diego arrived ready to roll! Diego was the nicest, most polite, and efficient installer we could have ever asked for. My wife and I have honestly never appreciated having someone working in our house more than we appreciated Diego. He was exceptionally careful of our home, and cleaned up as he went - like lightening!! Not only did we absolutely love the guy, his craftsmanship was UNBELIEVABLE!! He completely laid an entire level of our home (three large rooms and a bathroom) with quality laminate in a single day!! We even asked him to cut out early on this day so we could go to a concert, and he still did a full days work but finished up by 3pm at our request!! Day Three: Diego was back bright and early to complete the project with baseboards and finishing touches. He cleaned everything up like a whirlwind, and cared for the final product like it was his own home. I have never seen a more efficient craftsman at work! He was truly inspiring to watch work. All muscle and skill. No knee pads, no sweat. Diego’s “artistry” was impeccable and everything turned out so beautiful!! We feel like we are living in a new house! At the end of the day, during the final walk through with Justin and Diego, they both helped me and my wife and move the heavy items back: couches, tables, and even a new massive/heavy planter that was not even part of the deal! My wife was giddy that she didn’t have to navigate THAT thing back into the front room :) I cannot say enough about this company and this team. Robin, Justin, G, and especially Diego are TOP-NOTCH. Without getting too sappy, we now consider them friends! This team comes with my 110% recommendation for your flooring needs! You can thank me later :)

We recently moved to Aurora and I searched for flooring companies to replace the entire floor in our new home. I called several companies. Robin was the first to respond and had already scheduled a time to meet me at the property for measurements and a quote before any of the other companies even called me back. The communication was fantastic. The price was more than fair. The flexibility to change requests was amazing. The workmanship was excellent. They finished more than a day earlier than expected. We could not be happier with our new LVP and carpet. Thank You Justin & Robin!

Floor Coverings International of Aurora did an amazing job in our home. We did carpet and new baseboards. The installation of the carpet and baseboards was done a day sooner than expected. The installers were amazing! They did an excellent job and they were great to work with. Robin and Justin were true professionals and fantastic to work with.We had three other companies quote our job. We went with Robin and Justin because it was important for us to use a company that was owner owned and operated. They showed up to check on the work several times to see how things were going. Everyone involved in our project was wonderful and we couldn’t be happier with the completed job! We highly recommend them anyone looking for flooring. It was a great experience!

I got scheduled and ready for a consultation just for them to cancel and refusing to give a valid reason why. Left me on read when I asked why. Very unprofessional and unacceptable. Customer services like this should always be exposed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We had Floor Coverings International replace the flooring in the basement of one of our rental properties, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Justin was professional, communicative, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The installation was completed on time, the quality of the work was great, and everything was left clean when the job was finished. We really appreciated Justin's attention to detail and would definitely recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone looking for quality flooring and outstanding customer service.

I highly recommend International Floor Coverings of Aurora. From the initial appointment with Robin to take measurements and discuss my project until the final walkthrough after my new floors were installed, the service was top notch. It’s nice they also bring a stocked van with many samples right to your home. When I narrowed in on a few, they ordered additional samples from the manufacturer free of charge. Robin and Justin are knowledgeable and professional, communicating throughout the entire process. They showed up when they said they would and kept me updated along the way, answering my many questions. Diego and the rest of the crew were awesome and installed new engineered hardwood in my living room, dining room, kitchen plus 2 sets of stairs and hallways in 2 1/2 days. This included removing old stubborn kitchen tile and 27 yr old carpet. Their attention to detail was great. Justin also shared pictures via online link from start to finish which was nice. There were a couple places that needed a bit of finesse after they finished, but Diego and Justin returned same day and happily took care of it. I’m so happy with the new floors and appreciate the care Robin and Justin have for their company’s clients.
