Great customer service! I needed new carpets for a rental property after some filthy tenants ruined them. They came to the house and provided us with an unbelievably good price, much better than some of the other companies I contacted. Their communication during the process was excellent, and they installed the new carpets in just a few hours. The carpet is great quality and looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again if needed.

★★★★★ Floor Coverings International Tyson’s Corner completed a technically demanding basement remediation under difficult conditions. Another contractor’s actions had severely compromised the subfloor, making proper remediation extremely challenging. The scope required stabilization of friable material with a penetrating sealer, followed by controlled placement of a 1/4" self-leveling cement layer in chemically compatible lifts to achieve proper adhesion. Moisture management and surface preparation were essential. The work was performed during Virginia summer heat with humidity approaching triple digits. Cure control and material handling required disciplined execution. Farid led the project with professionalism and technical judgment. The team was prompt and methodical throughout the remediation process. Based on the execution I observed, I recommend Floor Coverings International Tyson’s Corner.

They did a great job of showing us different kinds of carpet, and explaining what to expect it off each type of carpet. Paul kept us informed about when the carpet would arrive and set a time to install. The installers we friendly and did a good job of installing. We would recommend the company to anyone thinking about replacing their carpet!

We hired this company to install carpet on our stairs and upstairs prior to moving into our home. What should have been a straightforward job turned into a series of avoidable problems and repeated service calls. After our furniture was moved in, we discovered that in two rooms the padding installed was not the high-end padding we had purchased. We were not notified of any change beforehand. We then had to remove all furniture so the carpet could be pulled up and the correct padding installed, a disruption that should never have occurred. The installation quality raised additional concerns: * The carpet on the stairs was not properly secured along the sides, leaving exposed tacks that we were stepping on. * Several areas near doorways were not stretched or anchored correctly, causing looseness and ripples that required another visit to fix. * During a later repair, workers scuffed the painted stair walls with their boots and tools, requiring repainting. When we later moved out, a neighbor hoped to reuse the carpet. We were initially told it could be removed intact. The installation used standard tack strips (no glue), the rooms were empty, and we had previously lifted sections ourselves without difficulty. However, we were later told it had been cut into unusable pieces and could not be provided as expected, and it was ultimately disposed of without prior communication. We also had them return once to re-attach sections after we had unrolled part of the carpet to air it out. When we asked whether a discount was possible due to the prior issues, the quoted "discounted" price was comparable to standard quotes from other companies. While the office staff and management were courteous, the installation quality, communication, and follow-through created significant extra work and frustration. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company. These statements are factual and documented. We gave multiple opportunities to correct the issues. This review reflects our experience.

I highly recommend Floor Coverings International. Joey and staff were beyond helpful and efficient. They made sure constant communication was a priority. Joey went out of his way to schedule time for us to hear about the company and see the product we were interested in (vinyl flooring).
