We had an excellent experience with Floor Coverings International in San Diego. We recently had our stair runner replaced with a high-pile European-style banded carpet, and they did a fantastic job from start to finish. After contacting several flooring companies in the area, they were the only one that was able to professionally band the carpet to achieve the look we wanted. The craftsmanship and installation were excellent, and the finished stair runner looks beautiful. Their payment terms were also very reasonable—requiring only half down to order the carpet and have it professionally banded, with the balance due after installation. The entire process was straightforward, and the team was knowledgeable, communicative, and easy to work with. If you're looking for a company that can handle custom carpet work, especially European-style banded stair runners, I highly recommend Floor Coverings International in San Diego.

The sales rep is terrific. His name is David. The wood product is terrific. The installation is good, but it does require some follow up for some reason where you need to have them come back and fix a few things

FCI did a superb job of replacing about 2,500 square feet of ceramic and carpet flooring in our home. From start to finish, the process was smooth, largely due to the professionalism and “customer first” attitude of David and his entire team. They reacted positively to direction from my wife, who took on the role of site quality manager! Endri handled the site management portion brilliantly, and showed off his skill in personally assisting and supervising the re-flooring of our half-spiral staircase, which now looks stunning. Installation of the ceramic tiles and laminate flooring was extremely well executed, and with close attention to detail. The team worked to prevent dust intrusion throughout the process, and cleaned up the work areas daily.

Some frustrations with materials being short, when it was time for billing, the deposit was wrong, and the promised finishing touches— like paint re-touches where the installers scratched the walls - were never done.
