I am so glad that I decided to hire Floor Coverings International (FCI) of North Central San Diego and Charlie Le to replace the carpet and old vinyl plank) in all of my rooms (entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, 20' hallway, a bathroom and 3 bedrooms)! I interviewed 5 other stores first, comparing price on the Luxury Vinyl Plank I wanted, Yelp ratings and my sense of them as professionals. They all had storefront offices with lots of space and lots of samples to view. When Charlie arrived at my home in his van and showed me his relative fewer samples, which did not include the brand and model I wanted, I was about the thank him and say goodbye. But as he looked around my home, he began making perceptive comments about what he would do that reflected an artistic, highly knowledgeable and deeply caring attitude. Charlie is an authentically friendly, joyful person that is very open to feedback and requests. As he said a few times, "I just want you to be happy!" And I am. I took a leap of faith (for me) and hired him. I welcomed his recommendation to replace the baseboards in all rooms to larger one with more height. They definitely elevate the sense of beauty and quality of the floors and rooms! He and his crew went above and beyond in helping me box and move my belongings out of the rooms being worked on, since I felt too overwhelmed to do it by myself. Hire them and enjoy the best flooring experience possible!

Charles and FCI did absolutely phenomenal work for me this past week. I needed a runner replaced quickly, so they came out with less than one day notice to take measurements and provide options. We quickly ordered the runner and it was installed 3 days later. It looks beautiful and is good quality. We were on a specific budget and he made it all work out. I was so impressed and will absolutely work with him again!

I hired FCI North Floor Coverings International to replace all the flooring in my home. I expected it to be difficult, but they made it so much easier. Pleasant workers, wonderful owner and truly they made the experience as easy as possible. Selecting the flooring was nice as they came to me with samples which looked different than the samples I saw in stores, because they were in my lighting and my environment. Throughout the process, recommendations were made that made a huge difference in the end result. The experience from start to finish was perfect and everyone was respectful, friendly and skilled. FCI of North Central San Diego is highly recommended for all your flooring needs. My home was completely in need of new floors and once we met with Charlie and saw his passion for flooring, we knew we were in good hands. Charlie's team showed up every day on time, worked hard all day and went above and beyond anything we expected. Workers were incredibly nice and thoughtful and we enjoyed having them. Charlie came to our home with samples so we could see what the selections would look like in our home and lighting. We went in a different direction than what I would have selected in a store or showroom. There was a difference seeing the samples in your own environment. Charlie is so knowledgeable and made recommendations, in the process of the project, that helped in getting us the best results. The entire process is difficult but FCI of North Central San Diego (Charlie and his team) made the experience far easier than it COULD have been. A huge recommendation and thank you!

Doing business with Charlie Le is a true delight. The engineered hardwood flooring that his team installed in our condo is beautiful, a good value, and guaranteed. His hands-on experience and impressive knowledge of hardwood, carpet, and flooring products simplified our decisions. He brought several 2x2 foot samples — not the 6x6 inch ones that building supply outlets typically provide — which gave us a clear idea about what it would look like in our place.
