I was keen on working with a local-run business to replace our stone tiling with luxury vinyl flooring. I was absolutely clear with FCI that any change orders or deviation from the original quote had to be as limited as possible (less than 5-10%) and only for unforeseen circumstances. So I was not happy when, after demolition, we were asked for an $800 change order (~20% of the original price). A major part was undercutting the fireplace, which had already been discussed and wasn't unforeseen. On my end, I should have ensured it was an explicit line item rather than relying on verbal confirmation. That said, the installers -- Uriel, Danny and Julio -- did a fabulous job despite not being told in advance by the owner that it was a stone tile demolition. It was a tough job. We love our new floors and are happy with the installation, but better communication and transparency would have made this an even better deal!

Our experience with Floor Coverings International was excellent. We had an urgent situation and Ashley (owner) and Kyle (project manager) made it their mission to complete the job within a tight timeline. Ashley personally helped select options and seek products that could be readily available and would be a beautiful and lasting investment. We loved supporting a local company — it felt like kind neighbors helping us accomplish the task. I would highly recommend them in your floor covering endeavors.

We had a wonderful experience with Floor Coverings International - they are professional and do a great job, but the bonus is that they are lovely, friendly people too! After the carpet was installed we found a slight defect in the carpet which turned out to be a manufacturing flaw. They worked with us and the manufacturers to make sure that everything was fully resolved so that we’re very happy with the end result, even after a bit of a hiccup! A wonderful, small, local business, which is just the sort of thing I love to give my business to.

Ashley was very knowledgeable and helped me understand exactly what was involved with replacing my flooring. I was given many samples to choose from; the luxury vinyl I chose was installed beautifully and everything went smoothly under Ashley’s watch. I would definitely recommend her company to anyone who wants the job done professionally and right!

We just had our floors completely redone in our condo using Floor Coverings International and we are very pleased with their work and the quality of the floor!! They are very professional and worked with us as we had to reschedule a few times! The whole team was amazing and finished before schedule!! They left everything clean and were very good at moving furniture and putting everything back just exactly how we wanted!!! We were also very pleasantly surprised that their price was reasonable!!!

Floor coverings Int'l did an amazing job on reflooring our condo. We are so happy with the quality and look of the product and most importantly they were very professional, the job was finished even before the anticipated time frame and they were all so friendly and easy to work with!! We got an excellent product and service for much less than we imagined! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

I would rate them 100 stars if I could! We were struggling with finding a replacement for our over 30-year-old kitchen/laundry room floor. The type of flooring we had is no longer made but we wanted a floor in a similar checkerboard type style which would match the aesthetic of our 70-year home. Every other flooring company that we contacted tried to talk us into something that we did not want - that is until we contacted Floor Coverings International! Ashley came out to our home and immediately understood what we were looking for! She didn't try to change our vision (as others had). She was up for the challenge and provided us with two options and many colors to choose from! We were even able to add a third color to our original plan to make our kitchen and laundry room look absolutely amazing! Kyle, our production manager, was onsite multiple times during the day of our installation to make sure that everything was going smoothly. He understood the design that we had created and made sure that the installation team understood it as well. The entire floor was installed in one day! The gentlemen installing the floor were extremely professional and were meticulous with every detail. Natalia, the office manager, made sure that all communication went smoothly. We couldn't be happier with the entire process especially the end results! And the project came in under our original budget! Fantastic service, quality product and installation, competitive pricing - these folks offer it all! There is only one company that we will ever work with again for any of our flooring needs and that would be Floor Coverings International!

I had the best experience with FCI. We did a full runner on my stairs and carpeted the area under my stairs to match. It looks incredible. They guided me through all my options and after some gentle education I actually changed my choice from sisal to a gorgeous knobby wool and I couldn’t be happier with it. The instal was executed perfectly and we worked as a team to navigate exactly how we wanted everything to look as there were some tricky decisions to make with the landing. This group really gets the job done. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
