"Who do you choose when you have the seemingly daunting task of keeping your original solid maple wood floors, plus finding more high character grade wood to replace carpet, and having it all installed and stained to look beautiful? We chose Floor Coverings International, and we are so happy we did! Bethany made numerous trips to our home bringing sample after sample until we narrowed down our choice of color. She would leave sample boards with us which allowed us to see the choices at all times of day. Bethany exuded positivity and gave us confidence in choosing Floor Coverings International. Adam, Bethany’s husband, was in charge of coordinating the project and communicating with everyone involved. He monitored progress and kept the timeline on track. Adam addressed small changes and was there for all of our questions. He even drove us to choose the correct wood to match our original wood. Next, there was Josh, who installed the floors. Josh worked his magic as he integrated the new wood boards with the existing wood. He sanded off the old stain and prepared all for staining. Josh prepared 5-6 options of stain for us to choose from. Bethany and three of our friends/family joined in to offer their choices of stain. Incredibly, we all chose the same one! The finished project proved that Josh is an amazing craftsman. Not only that, but he also sent us pictures all through the process! His brother, Jake, helped with some finishing details, and many others contributed by helping as needed in different roles and to move heavy furniture before and after.
