Extremely disappointing experience -- installation warranty dispute between previous and current business owners left us with thousands of dollars in damage. We hired this company to install flooring after a house flood. We expected professional workmanship and expected the company to stand behind its installation warranty. We were also attracted to the fact that this company is veteran-owned, as we are a veteran family with a member of our household who served in the military. Less than two years later, the flooring began coming up, curling and chipping. We reported the problem while we were still within the installation warranty period. An independent inspection subsequently determined that the flooring had been installed incorrectly and documented the installation problems. What happened next has been extremely disappointing. The previous owner, Kris Piotrowski, and current owner, Alan Jones, have disputed back and forth over who is responsible for addressing the warranty issue. While they disagree about responsibility, our family has been left with a damaged floor and thousands of dollars in repair costs. The flooring failure itself is concerning. What is even more concerning is how the warranty problem has been handled. Instead of seeing a customer with a documented installation problem and working toward a resolution, we have experienced finger-pointing and a dispute over which owner should be responsible. Alan's proposed resolution has been for us to pay him more money to fix the floors which we rejected as we've already paid thousands to this business and are seeking to have our warranty honored. Both the previous and current owner have different interpretations of the purchase agreement they signed between themselves when the business changed hands -- a transaction that was completely outside of our control and in which we had no involvement. Yet we, the customer who paid for the flooring and reported the installation problem during the warranty period, are the ones left dealing with the consequences of that dispute. This is not the experience we expected when we hired a professional flooring company. Everyone was lovely and accommodating when they wanted us to sign the contract. Unfortunately, our experience changed dramatically once we needed the company to stand behind the work covered by that contract. A business's integrity is not really tested when everything goes right. It is tested when something goes wrong and the customer needs the company to stand behind its work. We would absolutely not recommend this company.

The customer service and install teams are great. Courteous and Professional: However, the quotes were not complete and I ended up paying more than agreed to. In addition they jacked up our baseboards and did not repair or repaint and was MORE cost unidentified that’s included with other flooring companies. Now we need to schedule and pay MORE contractors. Not the best customer experience created for the cost

Alan and his team did a wonderful job of installing our new floors. They were prompt, professional, and tidy. They went beyond the call of duty when we had unexpected water damage. They were so responsive and a joy to work with. If you are putting in new floors, Alan is the guy you want!

I have nothing else to say except I was very pleased about using this flooring company. Everything was done promptly and professionally. The contractor they brought into the job did an excellent job. I would highly recommend the flooring company and also the independent contractor that did the work .

I could not have had a better experience! Literally you don't need to go anywhere else for your floors. Alan was my second bid for my stairs project. He had them quoted, ordered, and installed before my other guy even reached back out to me to give me a quote. They're super professional. Really easy to work with. Installers were so sweet. And even though he had some big jobs coming up , and I was just a little stairs job, he made me feel like my project was equally as important and bent over backwards to make my project happen in time for my painters to come! Truly cannot recommend them enough. Plus he gave me some really great recommendations for other work that I need to have done, and those are turning out to be just fantastic.

We met with Alan, who was very kind, professional, and not overbearing at all. The entire process wasn’t stressful in any way. Alan took the measurements, explained everything clearly, and kept us updated throughout the whole project. Our floors turned out incredibly beautiful—we absolutely love how they look.
