Another contractor’s actions had severely compromised the subfloor, making proper remediation extremely challenging. The scope required stabilization of friable material with a penetrating sealer, followed by controlled placement of a 1/4" self-leveling cement layer in chemically compatible lifts to achieve proper adhesion. Moisture management and surface preparation were essential. The work was performed during Virginia summer heat with humidity approaching triple digits. Cure control and material handling required disciplined execution. Farid led the project with professionalism and technical judgment. The team was prompt and methodical throughout the remediation process. Based on the execution I observed, I recommend Floor Coverings International Tyson’s Corner."
