We used Floor Coverings international for some carpet replacement and hardwood floor refinishing needs. We also had a new red oak floor installed in one room. The floor refinishing involved Brazilian Cherry floors in several rooms and a hallway that were original to the house 20 years ago when we built it. The result is really nice, and throughout the process there were multiple “snafoos” experienced, but Charles St Clair, the owner, stayed attentive to our concerns and did absolutely all he could to make things right. Although the project took longer than anticipated, the problem was really with one of the subs that were initially selected for us to refinish the Brazilian cherry floors. The 1st company was really horrible, and the floors had to be redone several times - and eventually by a different company that Charles enlisted. We know that FCI incurred additional expense to make things right for us and we are deeply grateful that Charles cared enough to do that to see that we ended up very pleased with the outcome. Brazilian Cherry is an unforgiving wood, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Thank you Charles!

The guys worked so darned hard. The manager, Erik, is such a good guy. So willing to help and knows everything. Carpet's gorgeous. Sam gave me a good price. The pad is good too.

I hate when I have to deal with contractors, I always worry about being taken advantage of. After a leak damaged my bathroom floor, a large renovation company came in and wanted to charge me for all kinds of extra work I wasn’t sure I even needed. I decided to look elsewhere and found Floor Coverings International through Google and I am so glad I did. Devin is the owner. He came out personally to assess my bathroom. He didn’t just glance at it and give me a number, he got down and thoroughly inspected the space, and he even went out to my shed to help me find old tile so he could color match it for me. That kind of care and attention is very hard to find today. What I appreciated most is that Devin was completely honest with me. He told me exactly what needed to be done and why, and he never tried to upsell me or add work that wasn’t necessary, unlike the other company. He was fair with his pricing and transparent every step of the way. I always knew exactly where things stood. When you need help, it means everything to have someone you can trust come into your home. Devin treated me with kindness and respect, and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Especially anyone who, like me, just wants someone honest and reliable. Five stars without question

Fred and his team did an amazing job! We looked into some larger flooring companies, but their pricing was outrageous. From the moment they brought the mobile showroom to our home, they made the entire process simple and stress-free from the estimate all the way to the final walkthrough. What really stood out was their attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond. They even completed some extra work without asking for additional payment. It’s hard to find a company that truly cares about customer satisfaction like they do. I highly recommend Fred and his team. Do yourself a favor and go with this local company, you’ll thank me later!
