I had high hopes using FCI and was greatly disappointed. Differing communication of what the job was going to be and the installation itself was not well done. A floorboard with a long and visible blue mark was installed in the kitchen which then required a repair (rather than just installing another plank), dishwasher was moved and required a repair, the wifi line was cut and required Telus to come install a new line and blue marks in many areas (baseboards, walls, splatter on walls...the work was messy). Donna continued to insist that the installers were not responsible for any of the issues (therefore calling me a liar). Furniture put outside was marked and dirty when brought back in, a spare box of planks was paid for and not left until I asked and overall a very disappointing and the worst renovation experience I have had in 25 years of working with trades. I felt accused of lying. I would caution anyone considering using FCI to potentially run into issues.

Floor Coverings International and the workers were both a pleasure to communicate with. I chose my floor tiles from Home Depot. They put in an order, picked them up and delivered them to my condo. They removed the old vanities, toilets and mirrors. They then ensured the floor was flat and proceeded to install the new flooring, which looked even better in person than the online photos. It was wonderful to see the sample tile turn into an entire floor. During the construction I stayed off site as there was dust and I had no toilets for a few days. I was aware of this before hand and planned accordingly. The installers kept the work areas clean at the end of each day and respected my space. I had no issues leaving the keys with them while I was at work etc. In the same job, I also had my living room floor replaced as it had gaps. I was provided with samples in home to look at and choose a color that worked well with my new tile and existing carpet. Once my bathrooms were completed, the Floor Coverings International came back to install the most beautiful sink backsplash. They pulled the room together nicely. I was offered to have the backsplash match the countertop, but I wanted a fancy tile backsplash. Photos attached are of the old flooring being removed and new flooring for the living room, as well as for the bathrooms. It has been about 6 months since my renovations and there have been no issues that have surfaced. Everything is in good condition as expected. ** Advice for anyone else that is having tile floors changed/removed. There is a lot of dust, and while I did cover my furniture, I did not put my blinds in the "up" position. Every single blind had a layer of dust on it. If you have flooring replaced, put your blinds up :)

Our entire experience with Floor Coverings International Northshore has been nothing short of excellent. The guys who did the floors were professional, they were quick, reliable, and they kept me updated throughout the process even working with my crazy schedule to meet up and review the progress they made.I will definitely use Floor Coverings International Northshore again and again; and I recommend them to anyone over any other flooring company out there! We recently redid the runner on our staircase with FCI and couldn’t be happier with the result. It was no small feat given the age of the staircase and differing dimensions of the steps in some cases due to age of the wood. Donna went above and beyond to oversee the job to ensure a clean line and a fantastic final product. I’m so impressed with Donna’s commitment to client satisfaction - would not hesitate to recommend FCI to family and friends!

Very easy to work with. Gary came to our home twice with samples. I had originally chosen vinyl plank, unfortunately floor leveling took that out of my price range. Gary graciously returned with carpet samples. New flooring was chosen and ordered. I also requested carpet removal less than 48 hours before the carpet was to be laid, and was accommodated, and not made to feel like this was a problem. I am very pleased with the results.

Recently got my flooring estimated and done by Floor Covering international north shore, very professional and knowledgeable. They worked within my budget and provided many options as far as material and installation. Definitely would recommend them.
