Highly recommend! We are so surprised at how great our refurbished hardwood floor looks. We bought an old house with carpet in the living room that was too old to keep. We decided to pull it up and discovered hardwoods like the rest of the main floor, but they were really beaten up. I found James of Floor Coverings Int’l online. He has good reviews so I gave him a call. He responded immediately, was out to take a look at our floors within a week. The quote he gave we felt was very fair so we decided to go for it. What a great decision! Integration of repair boards to replace a few originals and old radiator holes in various spots is flawless. The floors turned out beautiful and the floor repair man/ installer did excellent work. Very positive, professional experience.

Thomas, and the team did a great job replacing my damaged wooden floor. Firstly, Thomas came out to give an estimate, and was very through presenting the different options of floors I can choose from. Once I selected my desired floor, the team quickly coordinated with my property manager to reserve the elevator and provide insurance for appointment . The following week Mike who was a great installer completed the installation in one day. I highly recommended working with them on any flooring project small or big!

Recently had new carpeting in our great room and hallway after water damage to the laminate floor. The two young men who installed it did an amazing job. They took up the laminate and placed the padding and carpet and were completely finished in 6 hrs. I truly love their work and the nice carpet. We had a great experience from start to finish. They handled the demo, installed the new flooring, and finished everything off with shoe molding, and the results look fantastic. The work was clean, precise, and clearly done with care. Communication was solid throughout the process and everything was completed on schedule. Dann, my salesperson was easy to work with & caught all the little details that I didn’t know to ask about (like new corner round) & probably would not have liked at the end of the project if it wasn’t addressed. Abby did a marvelous job of keeping me informed about who, why & when various people would be coming to my home & sent me a detailed email with all of the details after we scheduled everything. Justin & Gema called when they were on their way and installed my floors beautifully. They were accommodating with special requests, like ‘can I vacuum out the dryer vent since you’ve got it pulled out’. The thing that really sets Floor Coverings International apart is the lack of surprises & major bumps in the road that I’ve experience with other home services contractors. We had a builder-grade engineered hardwood floor in our dining room and foyer, that had some water damage. We asked the folks at Floor Coverings International to take a look and see if there was any chance of stripping it (it was a lovely orange) and refinishing it. They took a very detailed look - even pulling a plank out of the damaged area to assess the thickness of the surface veneer - before telling us that they could do it. They were able to sand the finish and stain off the floor and to repair the damaged areas, stained everything dark walnut, and put a new finish on it. The work was meticulous, and they did a great job minimizing the dust in the rest of the house. The result is beautiful and just what we had hoped for. I highly recommend these guys - they are great!

Professional fast and easy to deal with. Joel and Jessica were wonderful. I called 6 companies for quotes Joel arrived the same day others took over a week to show. Pricing was the best. Ike and Joel went the extra mile to get what I wanted and make sure I was satisfied with the installation after the sale. Do yourself a favor and give them a call before you hire a large impersonal company that overcharges and under delivers.
