Mr. Juan Garibaldi was very pleasant and professional to work with. He provided everything I needed for the project and to keep within my budget. He took the time to get the right details for the carpet installation in several rooms and helped with the color matching. Mr. Garibaldi came as a stranger to my home and let as my friend. We have a tongue-in-groove floating hardwood floor, a number of years old. It had developed multiple areas of humping up or separating, depending on seasonal temp, humidity, etc. Multiple areas and rooms— bad enough that people would stumble over the humps. Pete Majkozac, the local FCI franchise owner, replied promptly to make an appointment, communicated as the time approached, and arrived on time. He carefully considered what the best option was for us. We had thought he'd want to install a new floor, but he said that would be the wrong thing because otherwise the floor was in good shape and it wouldn't be right to replace it. Instead, he offered to have his Production Manager correct the problem— scheduling it for a week when they were between other jobs, because it would be detailed and time-consuming work. So Garrett LaPlante spend hours each day painstakingly working through and fixing the problems in each room. His attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship was obvious; in addition, he was a thoroughly delightful person to have in our home all that time. Pete checked back at the end to make sure all was well. The floor has now been trouble-free for 3 months— for the first time since we moved to this home in 2019. Pete and Garrett each said their plan was to be the premier flooring company in the area by excelling in service and craftsmanship. Our experience with them and their work was certainly exceptional. This was a great experience. They came to our house and had a lot of samples to choose from. We selected one and that set everything in motion. It took a couple of weeks for our choice to arrive. Prior to installation, old travertine tile had to be removed which was a really difficult job. The old tile was so strongly adhered to the subfloor that it took three workers almost three days to physically remove. Once that was done, a defect in the subfloor was discovered that required leveling. That was taken care of beautifully. Then the new flooring was put down, which didn’t take too long and was done very expertly. Our floor area had a lot of twists and turns but every corner was cut perfectly. In the end, this was a very difficult job that was done very well. It looks like a new house! And last but not least, they had a financing option for us that allowed us to have the floor done now but to defer payment until we had the funds available. Highly recommended.
