I had a great experience with Floor Coverings International of Van Nuys. They removed the carpet from one of my rooms and refinished the hardwood floors in that room as well as several others. The entire team was professional, efficient, and communicated with me every step of the way. They also removed old and dark dog pee stains. They were always available to answer my questions, kept me informed throughout the process, and completed the work quickly without sacrificing quality. I also really appreciated that they helped move my furniture out before the work started and put everything back afterward, which made the whole experience much easier. The refinished floors look beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Mr. Howard and his team made this process from start to finish so easy and stress-free. Mr. Howard came to the home showed me the samples that they had measured the house and gave me two quotes for two different styles. We really love the one that we went with. His team came in did everything that they said that they would do with moving the furniture and putting everything back, they even took pictures of where things were. They finished in the time that they said that they would did some things that needed to be tweaked that I didn’t realize, but the process was so easy and stress-free, and we LOVE the new flooring.

The carpet installer (Gil) arrived right on time, he introduced himself, and asked me to confirm the carpet he had was as expected. It was! He went straight to work and did an EXCELLENT job. The carpet looks great on the stairway and upstairs in the hallway and loft. Very nice transitions between rooms. Very professional job!

From the estimate, to the installation, the process was quick and professional. I was kept updated throughout, so I never had to wonder where things stood. Cindy and Eduardo were both responsive and knowledgeable when I had questions. The carpet looks great! I needed a special solution to patch laminate flooring in a bathroon where a vanity was replaced and l hoped not to replace the entire floor. Eduardo had tricks up his sleeve, successfully patched it and it looks just wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend FCI to friends, family and neighbors with flooring needs, or to use their services again in the future.
