Matt’s foray into the home improvement industry began in 2001 with College Pro, a sister company of Floor Coverings International. In 2010, he brought Floor Coverings International to Wisconsin, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. For the past 14 years, Matt has relished the opportunity to transform customers’ living spaces. He understands the impact flooring has on the perception of homes, offering warmth, practicality, and design elements. Outside of work, Matt finds inspiration in the simplicity and beauty of agricultural life, is a lover of sailing and cherishes life on his small hobby farm with his wife and four children. From tending to Shetland sheep to indulging in woodworking and auto repairs in his shop, Matt finds joy in every aspect of rural living.

Don, our versatile Design Associate from Twin Lakes. With over 20 years of carpentry experience and a background in construction and CIS, Don brings a wealth of expertise to Floor Coverings International. Transitioning from a successful career in carpentry and construction to home security sales with ADT, Don found his way to FCI in January 2024. Drawn by the opportunity to combine his passion for design with his extensive industry knowledge, Don embraced his role as a Design Associate. What does Don love most about his job? Helping customers bring their flooring projects to life while enjoying a healthy work-life balance. As the youngest of 10 children, if Don could share a meal with anyone, it would be his father—whose sacrifice and dedication to family have left an indelible mark on Don’s life. Outside of work, Don enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with his Labrador.

Dann, a handyman, professional painter, licensed home inspector, and passionate flooring professional who has assisted countless families with their home care needs for the past fifteen years. Prior to Floor Coverings International, Dann ran his own home inspection firm, providing families with peace of mind as they worked through the home buying process. Additionally, Dann has run a handyman business for the last eleven years, covering simple “honey do” punch lists, whole home interior painting projects, and everything in between. A resident of Waukesha, Dann holds degrees in Business Management, Business Administration, and Communications, and is an avid reader, passionate bicyclist, and passable golfer. Dann is a huge people person and would love to assist you in working through your next flooring project.

Abby, our meticulous Production Manager hailing from South Milwaukee, WI. Abby’s journey spans across states and continents, from Racine to Madison, and even a stint in Germany and Arizona due to military life. With a background in psychology and human services, Abby’s knack for organization and efficiency shines through in her role. Abby’s connection to Floor Coverings International stems from her sister Ally’s involvement, recognizing Abby’s invaluable organizational skills. Since joining the team in June 2021, Abby has thrived on problem-solving and spreadsheet wizardry, ensuring seamless workflow and efficiency. Off-duty, Abby’s passions include quilting, reading, and cherishing moments with her children. With a penchant for pizza, sandwiches, and sweet liquors, Abby’s tastes are as diverse as her talents.
