We are a growing flooring company in the Burlington area offering full-time, year-round positions with occasional overtime and room for growth! Typical installation teams consist of 2-3 people and work Monday through Friday, 8-hour days. We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and carpet.
Who We’re Looking For:
Apprentice I:
- You may or may not have flooring installation experience, but you're looking for a trades career that offers opportunities for learning and growth.

Apprentice II:
- You have some experience with flooring installation and with commonly used tools. You are looking to take your current knowledge to the next level in the flooring trade.
- What you bring: Timeliness, dedication, reliability, love for learning new skills, and a positive attitude. Readiness to advance by building on your current knowledge and contributing as a productive member of the team.
Flooring Technician I
- You have made a serious commitment to your growth and have experience with hardwood, tile, luxury vinyl plank, cork, and/or carpet. You work independently as a productive team member, assisting the Senior Technician to produce an exceptional product. You will work closely with the Senior Technicians, learning how to communicate with customers, the project manager, and other industry professionals.
- What you bring: Willingness to learn and build on your skill sets through on-the-job experience and industry training. A valid Driver's License is required.
Flooring Technician II / Senior Flooring Technician
- You have extensive experience with flooring and tile. You will be driving a company vehicle and are responsible for managing an installation team. You communicate well with your team, customers, and the project manager. You are expected to produce an exceptional flooring/tile product on time. You thrive in an environment of respect, teaching, and learning, and will assist others in their growth in the flooring industry.
- What you bring: A passion for the flooring industry and sharing your trade. High-level knowledge of flooring/tile installation and the ability to complete jobs with exceptional customer service.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Load/unload trucks with flooring products, equipment, and other related products for the installation
- Perform flooring installation according to FCI company specifications and requirements in a timely manner
- Responsible for safely handling all products and tools
- Lifting products safely using the proper techniques, tools provided, and good communication skills are a must
- Maintain trucks in a neat and organized manner
- Providing professional and pleasant customer experience
- Senior Techs communicate with the project manager if any issues or delays occur
Experience Required
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License that is maintained
- Acceptable background check
- Ability to lift and carry 100 lbs. frequently
- Drug-Free/Substance free work policy
- Installation and manual labor experience for Floor Technicians and Senior Flooring Technicians
- Custom shower tile experience is a plus at Floor Tech I and Senior Flooring Technician levels
- Experience operating power tools for Floor Tech I and Senior Flooring Technician
- OSHA 10 Card
- Carpenter/Construction experience
- Experience driving box trucks
